- Filipino games will be played all day with a few lucky winners of prizes from our friends at Anjo World Theme Park! :D

- Come see the results of the Young Inventors Workshop by Fablab UP Cebu and the 10-12 year old kid designers.

- A super special performance by Sistemang Pilipino to cap off Duwa Children's fest.

We've found out that the most competitive jackstone players are all the OG mom and titas out there, so we're letting you know the Jackstone court will be at DUWA Children's Festival again this weekend and you can come out and play.

Workshop slots are still available for Theatre, Watercolor, Drawing and Hip Hop dance, check https://duwachildrensfestival.com/ to register.

Also, if you can only come a couple of hours, come in the afternoon at around 3PM when Musical Storytelling by Little Boy Productions happens, their performances from last weekend have been magical.

On Sunday, Sistemang Pilipino will be performing in the afternoon. They are an organization that teaches kids how to play classical music. It is going to be a wonderful performance!

Aug 20-21, 2022. Atrium Garden of Oakridge Business Park. There will be Musical Storytelling by wonderful folks from Little Boy Productions every afternoon (3PM) and a very special performance on Sunday afternoon by Sistemang Pilipino - a non-profit that teaches young kids to play classical music. It's going to be magical.

Hello, programming for Duwa Children's Festival continues this week and today is a very special workshop at Fablab UP Cebu designed by professors Mona Alcudia, Ar. Buddy Lim Ong, Fidel Laurence Ricafranca and their team.

The workshop is called Young Inventors Workshop and kids will get asked to ideate solutions to a prompt (or problem). In this case, imagining transportation of the future!

Kids will be paired with professional designers or design students to help them sort out their ideas and if possible create prototypes using the machines in the FABLAB.

We're already guessing that this workshop is going to be wild and super fun!

Our good friends from Little Boy Productions will be joining us at Duwa Children's Fest. They'll perform musical storytelling acts every 3PM of the festival days - August 13-14, 20-21. All performances are free, open to everyone, and promises to be good fun for the entire family.

Hello everyone, here's an updated calendar of activities for Duwa. Hope to see you there!

Hi everyone, we've published an initial list of workshops here: https://duwachildrensfestival.com/workshops. Most of the workshops will happen in the morning from 10AM to 12NN and will be held at the venue at Oakridge Business Park (Designing with Machines will be held at UP Fabrication Lab in UP CEBU). These are paid workshops and come with a snack pack.

There will be FREE performances every afternoon of the festival with seating for families and friends - ballet, theatre, and musical shows.

Filipino games will also be played (tubig-tubig champions come out :) ) and is open for everyone to join.

Hello, Everyone! Welcome to the official FB page of Duwa Children’s Festival!
Duwa will be happening on two weekends in August - on the 13th and 14th and the 20th and 21st. The venue will be at Oakridge Business Park in Mandaue City.
There will be various workshops for kids every morning from 10AM to 12NN - ballet, watercolor, design with machines, theater, hip-hop dance, and even money management. 😃
Every afternoon, there will be traditional Filipino games, which are free to join. Good wholesome fun for kids of all ages! There will also be daily shows with performances from Cebu Centre for Dance, Little Boy Productions, and the wonderful Sistemang Filipino, an organization that teaches music to underprivileged kids.
The Caravan of Wonders also makes a reappearance in Cebu, bringing their whimsical, magical, and wonderful wares on all the days of the festival.
We will be posting details about the workshops, games, performances, and other activities in the coming days, including how you can participate in all of them. Please stay tuned.
