Behind the scenes of a wedding are a lot of different moving parts working together to bring the wedding to life.
It’s definitely a team effort, and communication is key! Sometimes plans change and decisions need to be made on the spot, but I love every minute of it!

One of my favorite things to look for at weddings are signage. It’s a great way for couples to showcase their style and welcome guests into the space. The best part is that there are so many ways to include signage into your day that serves different purposes. Whether it’s simple or more detailed is up to the couple.
Signage can be used for the gifts/cards table, an unplugged ceremony, info. with the couples personalized hashtag so you can tag them to share photos, memory table signage, photo booth and many more! 🪧🤎

There are so many unique ways to include them into your day. Some of the ways I’ve seen through the years are with signs, flowers, a memory table, locket pinned to the bridal bouquet etc.
One of the things we take care of for you is making sure these sweet details are taken care of so you don’t have to worry ♥️
“How many in your bridal party?” is a question I always ask my couples during the initial planning meeting. Not because I have a preference but because it is important to know when creating the timeline. The more members in your bridal party and the more time that needs to be allotted for getting ready, pictures etc.
Through the years I’ve coordinated/planned weddings with both large and small bridal parties, and even some without a bridal party (especially during the pandemic).
Regardless of the size of your bridal party, the most important thing is to choose the people who on your day will have your back, will bring you peace, and maybe even those who know how to get the party started!

Let’s talk about wedding formalities…
Cake cutting, parent dances, speeches, bouquet toss, and garter toss are some of the ones seen most frequently at a wedding. The two that seem to be fading away from most weddings in recent years are the bouquet and garter toss. Some couples opt to do just the bouquet toss and others choose to keep both out all together. It’s a personal preference and there is no right or wrong when deciding which formalities to include in your special day.

It’s almost September and we are so excited for the back to back weddings we have coming up this month!! One of my favorite things about my job are client calls. Talking to new potential clients about their love story, wedding goals, and how I can help bring their vision to life is always so exciting!
For all the couples who are at the point of searching for your vendors, do your research before making a final decision. It’s so important that you are able to communicate your ideas and expectations, and actually enjoy chatting with the vendors you are working with. It may seem like common sense but you want vendors who you “click” with, not ones that you feel forced or uneasy about speaking to. It’s like finding the perfect venue or wedding dress, when you know you know. Follow your gut feeling. If it isn’t the right fit, let them know you’ve decided to go a different route. Please don’t just disappear, nobody likes being “ghosted”. As vendors we will understand, we want you to find your ideal match!

I feel like the holiday season is slowly approaching and I’m actually excited for a little relief from the intense heat we’ve been having lately 🥵. I am however trying to soak up as much of this summer as I can before it’s gone ☀️
