Adorning yourself in something fabulous to get married in is just one amazing part of the art piece that will be your wedding day. It is an opportunity to show up intentionally, artfully, and authentically.
That's why my couples get access to my Attire Guide as soon as things are official. It's about 50 pages of thoughtful tips and local places to shop, but here's the gist of my best advice:
More than how you look, choosing your wedding attire is about embracing who you are. Your taste, style, and natural beauty- reflected in fabric, color, and formality.

In my neck of the woods, your style, flair, and priorities are Phase I of planning.
There's no assembly line, generic list of to-do's, or "one size fits all" vendor recs. We get to know one another, dive deep into your story, and highlight what matters most in our initial meetings. We set intentions, nurture personal & professional relationships, and consciously create each aspect of your celebration.
I protect this part of my process by limiting the amount of weddings I take on each year, pouring all my heart and creativity into a select group of incredible clients who want to partner closely to create something heartfelt. These summer camp vibes. ๐
Brought to you by two down-to-Earth lovers bound together by one hell of a back story (and 5 combined kids to show for it). They wanted their celebration to feel light, cozy, and family-oriented- more like a party they just happened to get married at. We pulled it together with fire pits, live music, food stations, and string lights.
One of my all-time favorite details is how they greeted their guests as they arrived, then held a spontaneous-feeling sunset ceremony in the middle of festivities. As a bonus, we got to see the space dramatically transform from day to night, with that incredible in-between lighting in the middle highlighting their union.

There are so many benefits to an intimate wedding- including more quality time, attention to details, and a slower pace. Here a few tips that can help your wedding ๐๐๐๐ intimate, no matter your guest count.

Q: Why elope? (wrong answers only)
A: You hate your family.
Real answer: Most elopers want to keep their celebration focused on the vows and private moments between the two of them. It's actually common to invite a handful of witnesses, and/or find other ways to celebrate with loved ones afterwards.
A: It's pretty much free.
Real answer: You'll save lots of money. Your average elopement will run about $7-15k, vs $30-50k for a wedding. Definitely not free, but hella accessible in comparison.
A: You're boring.
Real answer: It's a more relaxed yet adventurous experience. You'll have a smaller team with a looser timeline, and you won't feel like you're going through a big production the day of. You'll have more time for unique activities, quality time, and/or crossing things off your bucket list.
Of all the bad takes out there, eloping gets its fair share of bu****it. Truth is, eloping is just one incredible way to celebrate the hell out of your marriage, even if you're outgoing with big families and lots of money (but especially if you're not). You don't have to settle for less. You just need an adventurous spirit and a team who loves to celebrate small. ๐๐ฅ

๐ฅ Set the tone with communication. Sending out Save the Dates 9-12 months before your wedding allows guests to start making plans (and get the best deals on travel), then settle into your celebration with ease.
๐ฅ Live music is a fun, personalized touch for a dynamic cocktail hour. Getting photos done ahead of festivities (aka a first look) means you can enjoy it with everyone.
๐ฅ Bring in some professional transportation to help with ease and convenience. It's a great way to make sure guests get to the venue on time, without having to worry about parking, or returning home after that (third) cocktail.
๐ฅ Get some day-of signage to eliminate guesswork. Seating charts, welcome signs, and food labels not only provide helpful info, but they can show off some personality too.
๐ฅ A late night pizza delivery never hurts.

B&B had their intimate ceremony at a vacation rental, then headed to a nearby distillery/fave restaurant for food, speeches, and photos. Here's why it was a great choice:

โจ๏ธ Restaurants come in a variety of styles and aesthetics with the vibe built in, which means you can find a space you love that requires little decor and set up.

I LOVE what I do. So much I could shout it from the rooftops (except when it comes to the actual shouting part ๐ ). Can anyone else relate?
