We’ve managed to squeeze in one last stand for 2024!

We will be trading at Doncaster Video Game Market on November 24th. This will be our first event with Replay Events, and hopefully the first of many more if all goes well.

Paras here has taken about 3 hours of colour comparison, colour changes etc. the shading is different to the 8bit due to the limitations of the Hama bead colour palette (so orange instead of orange-y brown)

York Unleashed is open and we are ready to trade!

This is our last convention for this year but we will be keeping our Etsy and our website up as well as taking requests and orders through our social media pages.

We’re excited to trade again at York Unleashed. Most of the set up has been completed this afternoon, and we have a couple of new prints in stock this time.

Unfortunately this will be our final convention for 2024 due to financial circumstances. The cost of living crisis has hit trading hard and our own personal financial situation has changed.

We hope to be back in 2025 with unleashed in events and with Cute Fox Events at Cliffecon.

We had a brilliant day yesterday at Cliffecon with Cute Fox Events. The Con was smaller due to the venue size and the competition from Newcastle comic con, but it was very week run and all the staff (venue and cute fox) were lovely.

I’m absolutely made up as I got to meet Hacker who kindly recorded a message for some friends of ours. I even confronted my phobia of snakes and held both the small corn snake and the larger snake! (No pics as the other nerdy student was staying well away 😂)

We will definitely be doing more cons with this organiser again in future. Very reasonably priced tables and a brilliant day.

16th June - Leeds Unleashed Comic Con, New Dock Hall, Royal Armouries, Leeds

14th July - Newcastle Unleashed Comic Con, St James’ Park, Newcastle

1st September - York Unleashed Comic Con, York Races, York

We are expanding our range this year with some new products, as well as updating some of our previous packing. Look out for our new students packs for just £5, these contain a door stop, some food clips, and a geeky keychain for your accommodation keys, perfect for new and existing students.

And here he is. One Lakitu!

The hair was an improv as the piece kept failing or snapping (had to reprint the whole head after the stem snapped in the model 🤬) But then I remembered that we had an almost empty reel of black filament too short to print with and too brittle. Three pieces snipped off and secured with E6000 and I have to say, it looks brilliant.

This guy will be on display at Cliffecon in May and will be available to order on the day.

Watch this space for another new model which will also be available to order at our next convention appearance!
