Josh is at it again! He has 15 new charcuterie boards up for grabs! Photos, measurements, and prices are attached.

These boards were milled and finished about six months ago right here on our farm (wood sourced from Marshall area.) They are cured and ready for all the cheese/ crackers/ meats/ fruits/ nuts/ and veggies of the season!

First come first served! Cash or Venmo. Pick up/ make a meet/ and shipping is also available!

Please indicate in the comments the specific board you would like us to reserve for you!

💐Hello to our flower loving friends! This year has been a quiet one on the farm… between our busy schedules and a lot of farm/ growing failures (thrips/ voles/ bad seed and bulbs 🤦🏻‍♀️), we have not been actively sharing flowers with all of you this 2023 growing season.

As we start prepping our flower beds for winter, we are hopeful for a bountiful 2024 growing season!💐

Josh still has some gorgeous charcuterie boards (Black Walnut and Cherry) available! We will be listing those individually soon for the Fall season!

Hope to see you next Spring for Tulips 🌷 and daffodils!

Things are happening fast on the farm… Sadly, our tulips are not faring well... I believe it’s a combo of the quality of the bulbs I purchased last Fall, and the unusual weather we’ve had recently…

I have many bulbs that have not come up at all, OR I’ve had groups of tulips “blow” open quickly with the recent hot weather (from barely formed flower head to fully open and unusable in a matter of hours)

🥹😭😭😭

With all that being said, I have been able to salvage some flowers to store in the refrigerator cooler temporarily in order to make a limited number of bouquets 💐.

I will take an inventory of what I have and let everyone know soon!

To our awesome charcuterie board buyers!!!

The Ivey house was hit hard with Influenza A last week and over the weekend… two of us are still down. I will hopefully be able to make some deliveries to local friends on Thursday or Friday this week if I keep improving.

For those who requested shipping quotes, I’m working on those too. I need to package them up and figure out shipping. I will let you know very soon!

P.S. I checked the CDC’s website and they said the virus won’t survive longer than nine hours on hard non-porous surfaces (hard handles) and not more than four hours on soft or porous surfaces (leather handles and wood boards)

So we should be A-OK! 👍🏼😉

We are creating a wish/ wait list for those of you who are interested!

He plans to mill up some additional boards in the coming weeks, so if you have a wish for a board, let us know!

Ivey Acres has something new to share with everyone! Since we have a hard time sitting still while the flowers are all tucked away for the winter, Josh (my husband) has decided to dabble in wood working! He has created some beautiful debarked live edge charcuterie boards that are up for grabs just in time for the Holidays!

We have the following types of wood: Black Walnut, Red Oak, Cherry, Osage Orange, and Hickory. All of the wood was harvested here in Marshall or very close by, milled, dried, and finished on our property. We have two handle styles: Black Metal Pull, or reclaimed leather horse reins with genuine copper nails.

Each board is unique in wood grain, and all are debarked live edge. We have planed, sanded, and treated each board with a food grade mineral oil and natural wax to bring out the wood grains true beauty, and they are stunning!

Cracks, knots, worm holes, irregular grain and shape, all add to the character and charm of these boards!

I will list each board with a description and number associated with it. If you are interested and would like to purchase a board from us, please DM or text me with the number of the board!

Well, that’s all she wrote folks! (For this season anyway! 😉) Flowers are done here on Ivey Acres Farm, and the big job of ripping everything out, amending, and the planting of Spring bulbs, has commenced!

I had some helpers today! Some great 👦❤️…. and some lazy 🐶 🙄🤣…

I planted 1170 gorgeous, fat and healthy, tulip bulbs today that will be some of the first magical flowers 💐 of the 2023 season! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I’m tossing around the idea of offering a mini Spring CSA for those who LOVE tulips and daffodils (I have about 500 more daff bulbs to get in the ground in the next couple of weeks 😍)

More info to come on that!
