This is a hopeful challenge for people to stop identifying closeness to family as a benchmark of another persons value.
Mother’s Day is a difficult day for many. I honor mothers as well as all those whose stories have been dismissed and were left to navigate their mother wounds alone.
Our stories are being told. We are expanding the conversations over how conflicting it is to be wounded so often for so long and then expected to play a role in a world who exploits our pain. We are changing the way people discuss trauma and healing the younger versions of us who have carried the pain in silence.

Ride for Autism Acceptance was a success thanks to all of the people who donated their time, money, and effort to this fundraiser. We are honored to host our 1st nonprofit event with and can’t wait for more community activities in the future. Thank you to our volunteers and vendors for working out in the hot sun to make sure the kids had yummy food and a good time. We couldn’t have done this without you all!
