One of our goals when planning this 50th anniversary party was re-creating as many as the original details as possible, since we had all the photos from the 70’s! Susanne & Tom’s children plotted with us to extract all their parents wedding memories from their basement so we could create this ‘museum’ display as a surprise on their 50th wedding anniversary. Their reaction was priceless. It was such a joy to help them celebrate this milestone in their love story ♥️

After countless iterations of their wedding, Allison & Mark had their beautiful ceremony and reception at Allisons childhood home. It was so touching to see her parents prepare for the event, we lovingly started to call the house ‘The Bannister Event Center’. Her wonderful father even built them the backdrop for their reception. Phew! 😅 We’ve been busy y’all!! It’s been a beautifully chaotic season and we are finally coming out for air.

When Allison first came to us she had a fall wedding in mind, just like so many 2020 couples they quickly realized they would have to postpone, the new date was in early spring and the number of guests dramatically changed. Could we translate her vision into spring? Why not? I think we did pretty good 😉
