Those pre-wedding details 🖤 hand written letters, poured whiskey, beautiful stationary, silk, golden rings - all of it made this intimate New Orleans wedding feel that much more romantic.

2024 - 2021 - 2017

Growing with our couples is the best part of our job! We’ve traveled to four states with and Justin, took pictures with them in junk yards, houses they’ve remodeled, state parks, old airplanes, downtown Shreveport, and so many other places. We love how much they think of us and trust us with photographing these moments in their lives. 🤟🏻⚡️

It’s been super quiet over here - we’ve been rocking some weddings for our awesome friends, starting a new project over at and planning our first international wedding - IN IRELAND.

Planning on running around the coast and going on trails in Ireland reminds us of our time out in the Pacific Northwest. We can’t be more grateful and excited at the opportunities our couples give us! ⚡️

At some point, you’re probably going to ask - when should I book you? And the answer really depends on you! We shot a local elopement last night with 48 hours notice!

Adventure elopements do take time for planning. Flights, stays, waiting out the season are all things to think about when planning your day! Our suggestion is to book us as soon as you know two things, the date and the location! We’ll help you take it from there!

We love to get to know you, what makes you laugh, what makes you want a smaller wedding, what do you want and need for your big day!

We’ll ask the big questions, like date, location, and budget (our pricing packages are online at www.lushelopements.com/pricing-guide ). If you’re wanting flowers, Megan will call you separately just to nerd out about flowers forever and make sure you get everything you dream of!

Once we secure your date, it gets real fun - Dustin location scouts, plans hikes, Megan creates a personalized package for you, and writes your ceremony! We offer unlimited consultation meetings as we plan your day, and we’re here for you every step of the way!

“Where are you located?” is one of the first questions we get from couples. Our home base is in Shreveport, Louisiana, but we’re passionate about traveling.

Last year we flew, drove over 14k miles to meet our couples in the best locations in the country. We want to meet you wherever you want to go! We want you to enjoy your day and not feel constrained to picking a location that accommodates anyone other than you!

Who are the type of people that go on adventurous elopements? Who are the ones who go on them with us specifically?

We want to say adventurous couples - but that’s not enough. We love brave couples, fearless ones. Like Tanna and Claude - who eloped under a waterfall, barefoot, drank water from its stream and climbed back out in that just-eloped-bliss.

Couples who are fun, quirky, weird - we love you. We want to know how you met, we want to know why you have matching tattoos and share ours with you. We want to hear about that awkward first date, your proposal. Your favorite Office quote and yes we want to see all the memes you have saved on your phone.

That sounds weird, but who you are is what we’re all about. Who you are is the most important part - who you are is what got you to your person. And we want to know that. We want to embrace it, capture it, tell your story.

The biggest question we get when we tell people we run a full service elopement business is - why?

We can talk all day about how much we love photos and florals, and doing video and planning, but we’re passionate about our why. Dustin and I eloped in 2020, we invited a dozen of our closest friends and family to the mountains, made them a home cooked meal, took them on a hike, and had our ceremony. We welcomed them into our love and into our new life. It was so stress-free, happy, and just the most loving weekend of our lives. It felt intentional, and so personal.

We set out to give every single one of our couples that feeling. You deserve to be stress free on the greatest day of your life. You deserve to say who gets to be welcomed into your love. You get to pick the place, and the time.

You deserve a photographer who understands you, who makes you feel comfortable and confident. You deserve a florist who listens and creates your personality in a bouquet. You deserve a videographer who makes your love into a story. You deserve an officiant who writes your story and starts your life on an intentional note.

We booked Julia and Matt 48 hours before their wedding, we met them the day of. Megan met them five minutes before the ceremony. We are devoted to helping our couples, to easing their worries, and fostering a day that lets their love grow. That’s Lush Elopements. That’s our why.

No, we’re not maternity photographers, but we are storytellers. And telling the story of the love between Emily and Chris has been the best part of the last two years. From engagement photos to their wedding, announcing Emily’s pregnancy, all the way to last weekend in a hot greenhouse capturing the last few weeks before their baby comes Earth side - we’ve been there. The Ashley’s have become part of our family, and us, theirs. We wouldn’t want it any other way.
