One of the weddings I missed during maternity leave was for these cuties - some of my closest friends. They ended their day with a dip in the pool, which is very on brand of them. I truly cannot wait for their photos to arrive!!

When we took these at my sister’s baby shower in March, we were keeping a secret that I was pregnant too. But we didn’t know yet that I was having a little girl as well. Now we spent the whole Thanksgiving week dressing them alike and holding each other’s babies. Can’t believe we get to have tea parties forever!

Did y’all miss me? I missed you! Clearly I’ve been MIA since sweet girl’s arrival in September.

Unfortunately I missed 2 of my October weddings in order to be home with her, but that’s life and motherhood and it was an emotional pill for me to swallow. But I have the most amazing friends/brides who were more than understanding, and even insisted that I stay home with my freshly born baby, LOL.

Anyway, while I ease back into my day job and adjust to my new routine in motherhood, Blue Suede will serve mostly as a wedding blog and consultant until the next weddings come along. Don’t worry, I will share the gorgeous weddings I missed and be sure to show off my beautiful daughter, too.

Thank you for being on this journey with me and for being so supportive. I can’t wait to keep sharing all the beautiful weddings! Cheers to LOVE!
