🎟️🔥 The Event is now officially SOLD OUT for 2024. We're sad that not everyone on the waitlist will be able to join us, but no more ticket allocations will be released for this year's event. 🔥🎟️
❤️‍🔥🎫 There may be some people who cancel their plans with us and will sell their ticket. Anyone found to be selling the ticket above face value will be permanently banned from our event. Scalping will not be tolerated.

Bummer eh !😞

Well maybe not so …☺️

🛒There will be Hand Trolleys and a new motorized Baggage Train !

Trolleys will be available any time⏰.
The train will run when traffic warrants it (ie Burner Time)⏳

💪🏋️You load and unload your own stuff and you are responsible for it at all times.

🚂The driver has requested for hugs or high fives if you're not a hugger.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that as of this morning, The Third Degree Burn has officially become a Burning Man Regional Event! 🔥✨

This achievement is the result of years of hard work, dedication, and the unwavering support of our incredible community. It’s truly fantastic to now be a part of the Burning Man regional family officially!

In just a few short weeks, we’ll be gathering to burn with those of you who were lucky enough to snag tickets. We can’t wait to create magic together under the stars!

Participation, community effort and civic responsibilities are three of our favourite principles and your chance to do all 3 at once is in your 4 hour volunteer shift!

When you bought your ticket, you’ve already nominated an area in which you’d like to volunteer. If you bought a ticket for someone else, please encourage them to respond to this form (google form link below)

For people who opted into our mailing list, please ask them to answer the email they received to nominate which area they’d like to volunteer for! It's the same form link as above.

Volunteering is part of your gift to the community and your volunteer effort is really crucial to success of our burn. By all pitching in, we make the burn great. This is one of the qualities that makes a burn the unique experience that is so close to our hearts.

Next week, everyone will receive an email from the crew leads where you can select your shifts. Please respond as swiftly as you can so we can plan a fantastic and safe burn!

Hello 3rd Degree fireflies,

Amanda Sinclair will be coordinating the fire shows that prelude the burns on Saturday and Sunday.
Her experience ranges from the Great Circle to community events and my favorite fire contribution is facilitating newbies to perform with fire.
If you are an experienced fire dancer- we want you!
If you've always wanted to play with fire- we want you!
If you want to support the shows through fire show safety teching- we want you!
If you have tools and don't want to perform- we'd love for you to lend your tools to those without.

There will be one rehearsal for each show, in the early afternoon on Saturday and Sunday.
This is mandatory, regardless of experience.
We will choreograph blocking, lighting and put outs. Hopefully about an hour.
For those who have not lit up, we will extend the Saturday rehearsal so you can get trained in safety and get comfortable with fire.

Expert fire safety training provided

Rehearsals will take place near Center Camp or mainstage (please ask around if you can't find us, will aim to make it obvious).
You must be committed to staying sober until after the show and wear fire safe clothing (natural fabrics, cotton, denim, leather, wool or nothing!)

Please also bring your glow and/or glow in the dark flow toys as in the event of a fire bam we will be put together a glow show. And there is space to perimeter spin glow in the fire show.
And remember to wear natural threads! Nothing flammable..
