One thing is for certain, if you hired me for your wedding this is what my morning is like: long drives while I blast tunes, Starbucks, and something relaxing (today a trip to Target). I do this to get myself ready to make your day perfect. You get 1 wedding day. I can't guarantee it will be drama free, but one thing is for sure is that it won't be coming from a sore attitude from me 😁

One thing I got from my work at The Marq was the quote that "Cinderella doesn't have a bad day." In this case they're speaking of the Disney actors and actresses. This might be my 200th wedding, but for my couples this is their one day. They don't get a do over. So they deserve for me to be at my absolute best. So no matter what I have going on I put it aside.

Pre-Wedding routine: go to Starbucks, blast music, and sing along.

Feel bad for not getting pictures of tonight's wedding. My bride and groom raised almost $300 at dinner to donate to the local Veterans chapter and then proceeded to donate all their leftover food from dinner to the police station. Such generous and kind people 🥰

Vickery Village is beautiful this time of year. Look at that backdrop for the ceremony! Black Sheep Weddings & Events didn't disappoint as usual for a reception venue. Kelsey and Justin are married and their day was pretty perfect if you ask me.

Last wedding of 2022 for me and it was beautiful! Kelly kept saying he didn't do anything for the wedding, he just had to show up. Truth was he put some personal touches of his own in including a replica of their dog for the cake and choosing their first dance song as a surprise for Megan. Lots of happiness!

Quick Announcement/Life Update!

I still have 2023 dates available, especially in July, August and October. So if you or someone you know is still looking for a wedding coordinator in 2023, please pass this information along!

Also, for 2024 and beyond, I will no longer be able to accept Friday weddings during the spring and Fall. I will be adjusting my home life a little bit and no longer going to be available during the school year on Fridays. This doesn't affect any of my weddings currently booked with me, but I wanted to put it out there for those future wedding dates.

Thank you for all the support and love I have received this year with my business, I have a few more weddings to wrap up my 2022 year and i'm so grateful and excited!

Listen, this is Wisconsin. The weather doesn't always cooperate. Today was not what any couple would want. It rained, it was cold. But Sara and Adam took the day in stride. The ceremony was moved inside where it was warm and cozy. The vows exchanged warmed the room even more. To someone at home this day might not have been perfect, but it was perfect for them. First time at Vickery Village and it did not disappoint! Food trucks with Chives Restaurant and Rustique Restaurant, dessert with Legendairy Cookies 'N Creamery and DJ with SoundFire DJ!

Super cute ideas like the photo scavenger hunt as well as table numbers that show the bride and groom at different ages. So elegant and fun!
