Buckle up, it's a long one😂

✨2022✨

The first 'normal' year of Satellite since we started back in 2020, mid pandemic.

This year was a massive learning curve for us. At the start of the year we revived the Epstein Lounge Sessions and were able to finally bring the events to life that we'd planned all the way back in 2020 ❤️

We branched out with Satellite and tried to support as many local artists as we could with performance opportunities, eventually playing host to over 20 different musicians, singers, spoken word artists and other creatives which meant the world to us! After all that is at the very core of what we want Satellite to be 💜

September saw us host our first event at Future Yard, a huge milestone for us! The performances from KOF, Keeley The Producer and Motto Estate were outstanding and to see a bustling live room for our first gig there was an incredible feeling 🎶🔥

The last couple of months, we've taken a bit of a step back. We both work full time alongside satellite and to say things have been busy would be an understatement! Nevertheless, 2022 has been an exciting year for us and we're looking forward to seeing where we take Satellite in 2023💜🌟

Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year and over the last 2 years, those who have given us your time and energy, those who have interviewed us on radio shows, given us write ups for our events and everyone who likes and shares our post. We couldn't do it without you 💜

💜✨ Satellite Turns Two ✨💜

With all the excitement of our Future Yard gig tomorrow, we missed our birthday! Monday 19th September was officially our second birthday and what a two years it's been! 🤩 There's been so many amazing memories with some incredible local artists and creatives and we're just getting started! 🥂

We had the absolute pleasure of having a chat to the lovely Ella from Where Are The Girlbands earlier this week for their September Catch Up Show on Melodic Distraction all about Satellite, what we've learnt in our first two years and what's still to come..📻🎂🎉

With just two weeks to go until the big event, we thought we'd share some useful info about the venue so you can make the most of your trip across the Mersey 😉

▫️GETTING THERE 🚆 - swipe to see just how easy it is to get to from Liverpool City Centre. No excuses!

▫️TICKETS 🎟 - tickets will be available on the door, but they will cost more, so purchase in advance via the link in our bio!

▫️NO CASH 💸- Future Yard is a completely cashless venue. All payments are taken via contactless or chip and pin. We can accept cash for merch ONLY but still recommend paying by card.

▫️ FOOD & DRINK 🍔🍻 - the venue's kitchen will be serving up delicious food from 4pm so why not make a night of it and grab your tea before the gig?

This really is shaping up to be an amazing night and we can't wait to see you there!

Time to get EMOTIONAL...(again)😅🖤

2 years ago today, we were all plunged into the first (of many) Covid lockdowns...like other event organisers, we had to cancel all of our upcoming Epstein Lounge Sessions after only being able to do our first one. The next one we had planned in April 2020 was an open mic night and we were devastated we had to cancel it so we are SO excited to announce this Open Mic Night taking place on Friday 22nd April!🎤🔥

It's our first Open Mic and we can't wait to welcome some amazing performers and two very special guest performers! With that in mind, we're posting a call out to anyone who would like to take part on the 22nd! If you're interested, you can email us or message us on our socials!✨

The feedback for the Epstein Lounge Sessions has been incredible so far and we're so grateful for the support..we're just getting started!🔥
