This Sunday Après will be located at Boise Brewing instead of Payette Brewing in order to help with the warm clothing drive for incoming people from a refugee background. If you have any extra warm clothing (ski jackets, scarves, hats, etc.) please consider donating them at Boise Brewing on Sunday. You can enjoy a free pint and discounted ski/board servicing.

There have been some questions about the "Apres Ski Swap" event. This event is NOT a separate ski swap, but rather an afterparty supporting the BBSEF Ski Swap (which is at at the fairgrounds). The afterparty will be at Payette Brewing Co. This Friday-Sunday (11/3-11/5) from 4-10 PM.

The idea is to provide a more relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a beer in once you have already gone to ski swap, or if you couldn't make it. While you relax, we can tune your skis/boards and raise some money for BBSEF to boot.

Each year the Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation (BBSEF) looks forward to hosting the annual Ski Swap, presented by Toyota. BBSEF volunteers enjoy helping outfit winter sports enthusiasts for the season ahead.

Got a little stuff rain down on us a couple days ago while making an attempt on Boy Scout Couloir on Grand Mogul. This was totally safer than it looks in the video. The storm had produced fluffy powder on overhead slopes that sluffed down to where we were at. Nothing was bonding at the time. This is NOT an avalanche. The group decided that rappelling in these conditions wasn't worth it, so we turned around and had a great ski down.

Today is the last day to hang out at the Après trailer for the 22/23 ski season. Come say hey at Payette Brewing Co. 4-9PM, I look forward to seeing you next year!

The free community bench will stay up at New Colony Beer Co through the end of February.

This is the last week I will be servicing skis and snowboards for the 22/23 ski season (My last day is Friday). Come say hi at and on Weds/Thurs or on Friday.

As much fun as this season has been, I need to head back to my real job and prepare for the '23 Fire season. I look forward to seeing you all next year in Late November or Early December!!

The last day for waxes and tunes this ski season is Friday Feb 24th!!

Après will be at Das Alpenhaus Delikatessen LLC and Bikes and Beans Weds and Thurs 4-8PM. The last day of the season will be Friday at Payette Brewing Co. on Friday Feb 24th. Then it is time for this guys to go prepare for fire season.

It has been a terrific ski season getting to meet so many great people in the community!

If you need your skis or boards serviced, I will be woriking at Bikes and Beans and Das Alpenhaus Delikatessen LLC Weds, Thurs. And finishing off the year at Payette Brewing Co.

I always open at 4pm.

It's been so much fun meeting everyone, and I really look forward to sharing the 23/24 ski season with you!

The community ski and board tuning bench has plenty of temp specific, all temp, and Eco Flow wax available. I just came in and cleaned the files. If you have dull scrapers in your DIY home kit, you can sharpen them at New Colony Beer Co.

Just a reminder, the bench is FREE for anyone, anytime New Colony is open. There are professional grade tools and supplies. If you feel like donating (no pressure) that money goes directly back into the bench for more supplies and tools.

That being said, I am looking for suggestions for the next purchase or upgrade. If you have any suggestions, leave it in the comments. Skin cutters? Skin wax? Maps of MCS? Better Philips drivers for snowboard bindings? Ski grade epoxy? A YouTube channel with how-to videos? Let me know what you want to see.

If you don't feel like paying for a decent tune, that's ok. You can do a professional job yourself at New Colony Beer Co for free! Any donations (no obligation) go directly back into buying professional grade wax and tools for anyone to use. Just drop your ID off at the bar, and you'll get the box of supplies.

The free community ski/board tuning bench will be up and operational again at 5pm today. The new location is on a trial basis at New Colony on Orchard. The bench will be open to anyone, anytime New Colony is open (at the owner's discretion).

Apologies to anyone who showed up at the Handlebar after the bench was removed. With their newly installed indoor pump track, the bench was a bit of a hazard and I was asked to remove it (although you should still definitely check out that pump track, it's pretty cool).

I'm looking for a new place to set up the community tuning bench. The Handlebar needed the space for their pump track (which is pretty cool and worth checking out). Any ideas? It needs to be somewhere that anyone can access.

All the scrapers at The Handlebar Boise are sharp and ready to use. The tuning bench is free for anyone (wax included) anytime through the end of January. Any donations go towards buying more supplies for the community bench.

This evening is the last evening for $10 waxing and tuning classes at The Handlebar Boise from 4-8pm. You'll also get a free mystery beer from the randomized vending machine.

The bench will remain open and FREE to use through the end of January. Any donations go straight back into buying supplies for the bench. I can't promise this will make you "the best skier on the mountain," but it just might...
