what a year it has been 🙏
despite going through some of the hardest s**t yet, through having to accept grief, uncomfortable changes, fu***ng up, burning out, I’ve also created some of the most special memories and grown close to people that light me up and inspire me. It’s been my greatest pleasure getting to spin my tunes on so many dance floors and festival grounds, to follow my intuition and grow past my fears of going against the grain. I still may be a ball of anxiety who gives too many f***s, but I’ve also kinda learned to give a few less f***s where necessary. Even on the hardest days, knowing I’m supported and get to create dope experiences with you all reminds me why life is so special and that we’ve got a lot to fu**in celebrate. So keep going and go after whatever TF your heart desires. Si se puede 💗💗💗

my favorite festival of the year is BACK baby ☂ and we can’t wait to do it again. Starting off w this Friday, and I will be going ALL night at Connect SD as our Green Machine duo, this is our first b2b sesh since the livestream days and I’m excited to f**k around and find out for a few hours 🤪 Always so much fun w Milad and the Connect crew, tickets are only $15 online right now !! 🌱🥬

A week out from some gewwd times🌿 Starting off with Thursday at AC Lounge I’m closing out the first edition of Dungeon Dreamers: a new Techno monthly hosted by ! Super proud of Nate and all the hard work he puts into his passions. No cover so come n support n dance 🔥

back in business ~ bad bitch DJ’s unapologetically share their feelings so vulnerable post incoming :)

I ain’t gonna lie these last few months have not been easy. At all. Following some the most difficult hardships life has thrown at me yet, I lost major sight of myself and I’m still putting the pieces back together. Ms. Universe wouldn’t let me catch a break 🥲 It’s tough to admit you’re not ok and even tougher to pull yourself outta the darkness and not make your pain your entire personality. But I’m so grateful I took time to feel through it all and make necessary space to recover + heal. Proud of myself to be making it thru, but that s**t hurted lol. So if you haven’t seen me around lately, just kno I’ve been directing all my energy towards taking care of my mental health and handling life s**t so I can show up the way I want to at gigs/around others.

That being said, I’m starting to actually feel like I exist in my body again and my nervous system isn’t constantly stuck in survival mode, so it’s time to celebrate that I get to experience this next phase of life and the fact that I’m still kickin. Woohoo!👏Starting the wknd off early tonight with one of my fav humans who’s helped me thru all the tough s**t lately, 💚 We play at Backyard PB tonight from 10-midnight!!! Come for grooves and some sultry live guitar jamzz

I’m also SO stoked that is bringing Ray Mono to San Diego tomorrow for the next installment of Condition. Fun fact: for my first official gig with Umbrella in 2019, the opening song for my set was a track by him!! 🥲Absolutely juiced on this lineup and my body is ready to dance all night to some minimal 🙏

these last few days have been ridiculously hard, but despite it all i’ve felt so held and supported by my people. jay was the glue that held us together both during his life and in the spirit world, and he’s brought us even closer together and cracked my heart open in ways that i was too scared to do for so long. this photo from sunday means so much to be bc i always wanted to merge my AUF + Shuffle Fam together….😌 i just have so much love for everyone here (and more not pictured) and i could not have gone up on stage and done what i did without their support. keep your friends close, and tell ‘em you love them whenever you’re thinking it. your spirit was 100000% here with us at pride and will live on forever through all of us. we love you we love you we fu***ng love you forever and ever our sweet angel baby. ✨👼🏿

HAPPY PRIDE ✨ Holdin’ it down for the q***r latinx community this Sunday at the festival 🏳️‍🌈🇲🇽 Proud AF I get to close out the festival Sunday night at the Euphoria Dance Garden stage, this is truly one of the most special gigs of my career so far, if it weren’t for my high school girls & g**s (y’all know who you are) showing me the EDM world back in high school, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Both the electronic and LGBT+ scene have always been there for me to safely explore all of myself without fear, and I’m so grateful and excited to give back and get down with everyone, representing my fam who’s nurtured me and been my safe space thru and thru, issa full circle moment baybee 💚💚💚 This one’s for my shy confused lil pr***en self, we’ve come a long way and are always growing, transforming and healing together :,)

Never forget the importance of representation, never forget that q***r people of color founded House and Techno and pioneered the club scene we all know and love today. Back in the day, Black + Latino g**s found safe havens in dark, sweaty clubs, cuz it was the only place they could be themselves. Our dance floors today are so vibrant and inclusive because it’s always been a safe space to BE, and it’s crucial to keep acknowledging its roots. At its core, dance music will always be a revolution and celebration of individuality because of the foundations it was built on.🎉

💜💜💜 my first DH party was at spin and i went by myself, I was freshly 21 and all i wanted was to get blasted in the face with house & techno. i knew i would THRIVE at their fest but sold my ticket because i didn’t think i had anyone to go with ....then i met in the desert..

he took me to my first AUF party weeks before the fest, and after partying w them all till 8am i was sold. i was immediately back on the hunt for a ticket and made it happen 😂 best decision of ma life!!!!

since then i’ve taken home that inspo to be more comfortable with myself & pursue a life with art. last winter i got to dance for City Hearts with and now TODAY i’ll be on DHTV!!!! 🥰 grateful is an understatement, i’ll be on at 6PM!!!! 💜💜💜💜

Special shout out to Daniel Gold and the Kava Lounge for the incredible support with this series all year - it was so dope having Daniel come up and spin some tunes with us... He absolutely crushed it with the breakbeats! Anyways, we hope you enjoy this mix as much as we do!
