A GREAT, BIG THANK YOU to all of our vendors, volunteers, live band, FBC's children's choir, our Street Dept, the Police Dept, & Ashville Fire and Rescue, St. Clair County EMA, Starshine Faces, Extreme Family Party Rentals, Jennifer Kell Spears, DJ Blake Campbell & Better Together Entertainment.

And to City of Ashville, Alabama for allowing us to put on this Annual Event for our Community!

🎅IT IS TODAY!!! City of Ashville, Alabama's
2024 Christmas on the Square & Night Parade🎄

🌦This is a rain-or-shine event
🎟️This is a FREE, OUTDOOR Event
🎄We will have portable restrooms on the Square for your use
🎄Streets will be closed by 9am (Please see map below)
🥤Vendors & Food Trucks are open from 12-7pm
🎸DJ will start at 12Noon
🎄Inflatables will be open from 12Noon-6pm for FREE
🎨Starshine Faces will be painting faces for FREE starting at 12Noon!
🏛Inzer Museum will be open at 12noon!
🎄Pictures with Santa are from 1pm-6pm & are FREE!!! (INSIDE Spears Appraisal)
🎄LIVE MUSIC at 2pm, 4pm, & 6pm

Please remember that our volunteers have worked hard on this & they are doing this because they love our little town. Your patience is appreciated 🙂

🤩We are just ONE DAY away from the City of Ashville, Alabama's 2024 Christmas on the Square & Night Parade!!🎄

We will be doing a countdown & sharing some of the things that will be available at this event 🙂

🎅For the 7th plus year in a row, Jennifer Spears of Spears Appraisal is hosting our INDOOR SANTA AREA! (See Map & some images from past Christmases)

🎅Starting at 1pm-6pm: Santa Pictures are FREE, Sponsored by the City of Ashville. We do ask that only one child, group, or family inside at a time. This gives each individual family or group, a quiet place to time to talk & get pictures with Santa.

🎅Spears Appraisal is on Court Street East, located between Little Art Tree & Farm Wife & Co. - If you are still having troubling finding it please look for the TEN FOOT SANTA we will have out front!!!!

🎅PLEASE NOTE: Photos will end at 6pm, to give Santa enough time to get to up to City Hall & onto his Float - so be sure to arrive early & not miss this opportunity!

🤩We are just 2 days away from the City of Ashville, Alabama's 2024 Christmas on the Square & Night Parade!!🎄
We will be doing a countdown & sharing some of the things that will be available at this event 🙂

We couldn't leave out our annual NIGHT PARADE!!! Below is a Map of the Parade Route, Parade Info, plus how to sign up!!!

🎄 Ashville's 2024 Christmas Parade will start at 7pm on 12/14/24!
🎄Remember it is FREE to enter & EVERYONE is welcome!!
🎄This year we are asking everyone to PRE-REGISTER ONLINE at the link below.
🎄Line up starts at 5:30pm at City Hall
🎄Everyone (adult or child) must have a hardcopy waiver signed to be in the Parade
🎄Follow the link below to signup ONLINE BEFORE THIS SATURDAY 12/14/24
🎄We will have a hardcopies for you to sign the night of the parade🙂

🧐NEW THIS YEAR: Due to the overwhelming success of this year's Homecoming Parade & the amount traffic that happens afterwards - the Police are asking 2 things after you come through the Square & go through the Red Light up Highway 231 South towards the High School:
1) If you have folks or vehicles back up at City Hall please turn LEFT onto 7th Ave behind Two Sisters & continue back up to City Hall.

2) If you DO NOT HAVE TO go back to City Hall then please turn RIGHT onto Museum Ave in front of the Inzer House & meet up with your people in the old BB&T Parking Lot.

We are thrilled to announce that we will once again have FREE FACEPAINTING & BALLOON TWISTING this Saturday on the Square - Courtesy of Starshine Faces - sponsored by the City of Ashville!!!

ALSO- we are aware of the weather situation. We are watching it closely & will make a call later on this week. Even though all events are rain or shine- this looks like we might be in for some high winds or possibly even thunderstorms, which is then becomes a safety issue.

Be sure to bring either cash or card for our over 40 vendors & FOOD TRUCKS!!

We are so excited to announce that we will once again have not one, not two, but THREE inflatables this Saturday on the Square - FREE for our kids - sponsored by the City of Ashville!!!

Two larger ones for the older kids & one smaller "Toddler Town" :)

🧐DID YOU KNOW?.....
That your youth ball team, cheerleaders, FFA Chapter, ANY Ashville High, Ashville Middle, or Ashville Elementary school team or group can setup a table, tent, or booth for ANY City of Ashville, Alabama sponsored events?

AND most civic/church organizations or first responders do not have to pay a fee either!

HOWEVER, EVERYONE MUST fill out a vendor application so we can keep track of everyone & make sure everyone has a spot!

Plus Lala’s is open with their FULL MENU & Farm Wife & Co. is also open for y'all to do some quick shopping or grab some hand-scooped ice cream!

🥶 It'll be a cold one this evening so be sure to bundle up before heading out to the Square! 🧣🧤🧦
🔥Ashville Fire and Rescue will have some heaters to help with the chill! 🔥

🐿️ National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is our winner!!! 🐿️ NOTE: This movie is PG-13 so please be aware of that.

Please bring lawn chairs, blankets, & CASH to support our students from Ashville High School & Ashville Athletics who will have snacks & drinks for sale TONIGHT!
