So what is the First House? In a sentence, it is a secluded and charming escape that astutely combines the offerings of a full-service spa, tea service and private meeting/event venue.
In the height of my career, I transitioned from being a senior banker to creating The First House-- a passion project and entrepreneurial pursuit.
Before transitioning, I was an ambitious and driven professional. By no means am I slothful now! It was just that for a long time, I had labored, unsuccessfully, to strike a balance between my career and life away from the job.
My vacations were not restful. I would spend precious time brooding on what awaited me on my return to the office. Even my daily lunch breaks offered little respite. I simply did not know how to unwind and enjoy what I was working so hard to obtain. Sounds familiar?
I remember the time a colleague of mine introduced me to lunchtime massages. I discovered that it was indeed possible to get a body shot—a massage, snooze for 15 minutes and return to the job with energy to finish the day well!
I had to learn that self-care was important. My perspective, habits and mood all shifted, the more I was able to find that balance that had once eluded me.
I am known to be creative, resourceful and attentive. So, naturally, I was able to pour my talents into creating the First House as a retreat for time-starved individuals who:

Our beautifully appointed spa features a hot tub, sauna, massage rooms, and a full-service kitchen with a complete bar/buffet. At the First House, you will fall into my capable hands and my team, of course. I have personally selected and trained them.
We also carry a premium line of skin care products designed to enhance your spa experience. For your convenience, our spa services are available by appointment only.
At the First House, we also accommodate individuals looking for a convenient space to hold quick and private meetings over brunch, lunch, tea or snacks.
Our location is also ideal for intimate business/social meetings and gatherings of up to 50 persons, cocktail style.
