Did you know hiring a wedding planner can actually SAVE you money?

TME received a last minute request to plan a destination wedding in Flathead Lake Montana in July. The couple was frustrated because every venue they called was already booked or out of their price range.

Three phone calls later, we had a STUNNING venue booked for 1/2 the price they were quoted.

I first fell in love with event planning was while working for The Resort at Paws Up during their opening summer while I was going to college is Missoula, Montana.

I learned a lot during that summer and it’s wonderful to see the resort being highlighted!

Wedding favors: "I do", or "I don't"?

When working with clients, I supply them with a list, and estimated price tag of each possible wedding expenditure to review. They are then able to sort through their "musts", "wants" and "can live without."
One of the first things that I suggest they nix from their list, are wedding favors. The average cost of wedding favors ranges from $3-$5 per guest. That can add up quickly! Very rarely do I see guests leaving with wedding favors. Most end up on tables or even worse, in the trash can.
