Any of you American folk wanna great weekend in Scotland. It's a fantastic weekend with views to die for.
Extension of the early bird tickets and more early bird tickets now allocated!!!!!
First of all we at POTP want to wish you all a very happy and healthy 2025, let's hope it's a great year for us all with so much misery around the world in 2024, and to any of our big extended Peninsula family who have been suffering recently, we hope this year brings you better times.
Early Bird Ticket extension:
Due to the overwhelming demand in the last few weeks for early bird tickets we have decided we need to make one final extension to the deal as well as allocate more tickets for the early bird scheme due to demand.
Here at POTP HQ it's never been about, and is really not about profits in any way or this event would have stopped years ago as many of you will be aware, it's about doing our bit for the scene and proudly flying the Punk Flag, and having as many people as possible being able to come along to what we think is a very, very special event.
We have listened to a ton of people telling us they want to buy the tickets but they have spent all their money on Santa, so to thank them for their honesty and support, it's now a case of 'Ho Ho Ho, problem sorted' folks.
We are constantly told the weekend ticket price is far too low for four days, several venues, a ton of bands, added extras like Biggle's brilliant 'Trail of Beers' walk, the DJ's, Yes you Deadly Dave, you and your legendary partner in crime Manic Mannie!,
when people happily fork out multiple times the cost of our four day ticket price for one evening watching what is more often than not 'stars' just going throw the motions, but we are happy trying to keep the ticket price as low as we possibly can but we couldn't do this if it were not for you and your incredible and continued support.
People can say "but you don't have many huge names", but to be honest with you we think the real stars of the scene are the countless great bands who never quite get the breaks their music deserves, so to us these bands are the real stars of the scene, the bands that plod round the countries playing in small clubs and bars, to quite often not many people at all, who rarely cover their costs, as these bands do it for all the right reasons, their love of Punk Rock, so If we can help these bands in some small way, and some of the many younger bands coming through, we think we are doing this for all the right reasons.
Yes, it's magic to get the odd big, big name come play for us, but for us, it's genuinely not the be all and end all, so we raise our glass to all the unsung heroes out there as without you, there is no scene, there really isn't.
Talking of great bands, we may have a couple of superb acts to announce in the coming days.
We can never thank you all enough.
Forget any January Blues, let's get out there and party like it's 2025!
