Good morning Lofty lovers 🤗 who remembers "adopt a valentine?" You guys were so amazingly generous donating balloon bouquets to our friends in assisted living, nursing homes and adult day programs. So now I'm back asking who wants to adopt a veteran? So many members of our greatest generation are in these facilities and I'm hoping to give them a balloon bouquet as a thank you. Along with the balloons they will receive a hand made card from a local student. Who's in? Let's honor our heroes!!

Meet Camden-he's turning ten tomorrow, loves Patriots colors, football, and Minecraft. He also has a super thoughtful mama who wanted to be able to surprise him with something when he wakes up. This backdrop is foam board attached to a garment rack with zip ties! It weighs nothing, which means she can easily hide it today and put it out tonight when he's asleep. I have a feeling he will be pretty psyched tomorrow morning!

Where were you? Never forget 9/11/01. I was a senior at Assumption. I watched the plane hit the first tower on tv (I never was awake and ready to watch tv before class), then I saw the second plane hit. My class that morning was bible studies, I knew I had to go and pray for those people. I walked to class on the most beautiful blue sky morning knowing there were two other planes in the sky that were taken over. It was the strangest feeling I've ever encountered-being completely safe in the moment yet scared as hell... God Bless the USA, pray today and everyday for our country
