having an outdoor wedding?
pro tip: extra tablecloths are a MUST! dirt, bird p**p, leaves, seeds and more can get on your pre-set tables and leave a mess!! BUT it doesn’t matter when there are extra tablecloths to switch out during cocktail hour 😉

dear 2022 and 2023 couples who are struggling to find a venue… check out Airbnb, Vrbo, or similar bnb sites!!

I found my venue on Vrbo and have helped other brides find their venues too!
Pro tip: you can click the “filter” button on most sites and select “allow events” to narrow down the homes that allow events!

having fun on your wedding day is a must!!
all of the stress and anxiety of planning fades away and you can dance the night away with your loved ones!!

Pro tip: if you have a tight dress make sure you remember to put the garter on right before the toss (I forgot mine!!)

this camp themed bachelorette is perfect for a cozy weekend in the woods 🌲
there is so much inspo on themed bachelorette parties like “her last disco,” “her last rodeo,” and many more!! dm me if you need inspo!
p.s. the key to bachelorette and bridal shower decorations is to pick stuff you can use in your wedding too! for example, reusable chalk board signs!

let’s talk.

One of the most difficult things about planning a wedding is taking inspiration from Pinterest (and the $$$$ weddings) and translating it to your venue and budget.
My best tips for this:
•let everyone else brainstorm for you. show your moh, fiancé, etc. the idea and let them figure out how to do it for you.
•be as realistic as possible. look for inspiration that will work with your budget. can’t afford large floral centerpieces? try a table garland, or do your research on cheap flowers that you can make nice!
•narrow down the key items. want real dishes and silverware? you may have to sacrifice extravagant florals. florals really important? try plastic plates. it’s all a give and take.

it is soooo easy to miss the little details you want to include in your day! it helps to have someone (like me) to make sure everything is perfect ;)
