Models needed. Looking for "freshly" 2 to 4 year olds for new website portfolio. Ideally they are close to their birthdays as I'd like to incorporate a few celebratory birthday portraits. These will be in my new studio in the style of Wonder (www.wonderdenver.com)
Clothing will be provided. No session fee and 3 digitals will be provided in exchange for your time. Additional digitals/prints may be purchased at a discount. Looking for diverse range of kiddos. Six years ago I returned after 10 day trip with Carry The Future delivering boxes to refugees for them to have a safe place for their baby to sleep, and many other necessities, while they were living in tents at refugee camps all around Greece.

These were kids that once went to school, had homework, went to birthday parties, played at parks, etc. Parents who once chauffeured their kids all around town to school or soccer games. Many educated as dentists, teachers, doctors, mechanics.

But bottom line, they are all human.

Humans now living away from their home. Mostly in tents. In the cold and rain. Doing nothing because they can’t. Depending on people that speak a language they are not fluent in for food, shelter, translations.

Considering the average time living in a refugee camp is 15-17 years, I would imagine many of these kids and families are still there. Waiting. In tents. In the cold and rain.

Hello! This is the second holiday season that I haven’t seen all of your beautiful smiles! I miss catching up with my families, but we are doing well in North Carolina and have actually been foster parents for the last 4 months. It keeps me busy! Hello! I just wanted to share an update from 9NEWS (KUSA) on Kaley’s cupcake fundraiser with King Soopers for Children’s Hospital Colorado. She was delight to photograph. Thank you all for supporting her. I wish we had stayed in Colorado longer to enjoy more of her cupcakes, but bought as often as I could while we still lived there. Great job Kaley!!

We did this thing unique to Colorado with our child and dog as our only witnesses. Racing against a storm that came rolling in much faster than expected on weather reports. I think we found a pretty cool spot for our self solemnization ceremony. Now, on to our new chapter moving to and life in North Carolina! (Photography by Tripod and remote!)

As of today, May 22nd, after 11 years doing full time photography in Denver, I officially closed Rachel Kemble Photography, and am no longer scheduling any type of photography sessions.

My family and I are moving to North Carolina, the start of a new chapter in life and adventures.

My very first Pediatrician’s office! I was so proud to hang these images up when Dr. Kono opened up his new practice in the Highlands. They’ve been hanging there for five years, today they were taken down due to some transitions and changes with Rachel Kemble Photography, mostly my family and I are moving to North Carolina in a few months. We are so excited about this new adventure. Now, if I can find all the clients that these could belong to to get to them before we move. This whole thing breaks my heart. I met Bill last year when he flew up some dogs for Mile High Labrador Retriever Mission and he let me photograph him and his plane (not my image below) for the fundraising calendar I was putting together for MHLRM. You immediately knew he was an amazing human; gentle, caring, compassionate, and such passion for rescue. He thanked me for the photoshoot and bringing more awareness to rescue and the pilots who fly them to their new homes, but had to run as he and his wife were catching a concert at Red Rocks before flying home.

To learn at the beginning of this year of that his plane went down in the Gulf of Mexico while on a trip to pick up a dog for another rescue, rocked me.

His body nor his plane have been found. I get his son’s mission, I do, but how heartbreaking.

10 years ago this month I shaved my head for St. Baldrick's Foundation, raising 5k to help with funding research for pediatric cancers. It's that time of year again for shaving fundraiser events!!! I've known and have been photographing this family for about 9-10 years, since they were pregnant with their handsome boy. (And hey, look at this great family picture! ;-) )Now she is in the running to participate in the Kentucky Derby Parade at the Kentucky Derby as a breast cancer survivor. The Kentucky Derby means so much to them and they have personal connections to it, via my client, "For the 10th year, the Survivors Parade presented by Kroger will take place on Kentucky Oaks Day, Friday, May 4th, 2018! The Survivors Parade is a march of breast and ovarian cancer survivors, which takes place on Churchill Downs’ historic racetrack. 144 breast and ovarian cancer survivors will walk in the parade prior to the 144th running of the Kentucky Oaks race.

This year I have been nominated for this honor by my fabulous mother-in-law, Gail Lilly. Participation in the parade is determined through public voting, so I’m asking all of my friends and family to help me get there! You can vote up to once a day through March 18th. A throwback from when I shaved my head in 2008 for St. Baldrick's Foundation. It was printed about a thousand times in 2010 for the thank you plaque for all the venue locations, their name in place of where mine is on here. I've had several people find me throughout the country over the years and ask it if was me. This won't be the last time you see this image, as shaving events are ramping up soon!

Collecting more art work! I own practically every type of art medium Shannon of Ink & Tea has done, and now a permanent piece. There is no one else I’d trust my body to for their first tattoo on a live person. I selected some adorable blooming daffodils that Shannon sketched up for this piece, which is my daughter’s birth month flower, and also fitting because Shannon was my doula and one of the first people to lay eyes on my daughter when she was born.
