My name is Joseph Valentine, and I am proud to share that I am in long-term recovery, having maintained my sobriety for over four years. Throughout my journey, I have encountered challenges and made mistakes, particularly over the past year. However, I have taken these experiences as opportunities for growth and am actively engaged in rebuilding my life.

As a member of the Healing Utah Success Summit, I collaborate with a dedicated group of like-minded individuals who are committed to supporting our community in addressing mental health, physical health, and drug addiction recovery. My involvement in this initiative reflects my accountability to myself and to those around me, as I strive to foster a safe and supportive environment for others facing similar struggles.

In addition to my advocacy work, I manage two jobs, allowing me to further contribute to my community and uphold my role as a pillar of support. I believe that accountability, resilience, and community engagement are fundamental to recovery, and I remain committed to these principles as I continue my journey.
