We rolled into the weekend today with a fun mommy date….Err play date that is. 😜
There were a lot of laughs, a few tears and best of all family fun. This is a really clean, great skate rink: they have skates for all levels and even skate mates for the kids. (Ok maybe Alyssa used one too) 😂 There is a cafe that serves yummy pizza + snacks + drinks. If interested, they also have laser tag and an arcade. Several birthday parties happening in the reserved sections. They have a fun DJ and the music was perfect mix for everyone.
The moms all agreed we would come back again (and next time maybe for the adults only Sip and Skate) 😉

Looking for a fun indoor activity for the kids? This afternoon we split a 🍕 from and then headed to in for 18 holes of indoor, glow-in-the-dark mini golf. ⛳️ It’s a fun mix of tiki, safari, and dinosaurs. Also, has a party room for birthday and event rentals. 🐘 🦕 🎉

A little about our Fit4Mom instructor Leslie:
I'm a mama to 4-year-old E and 1-year-old C as well as a wife to Tyler. I have been active with FIT4MOM for 3 years (it's never to late to start!) and took over 2 years ago. FIT4MOM saved me and helped me find the community I desperately needed when I switched careers and struggled with postpartum depression. I believe we were not meant to do motherhood alone and I know I would not be the mom and wife I am today without my FIT4MOM village.

Hey, Mama! Stop apologizing. At least here.

Kids cry. They throw tantrums. They clam up and get shy in a new group. They don’t want to listen. They are hungry. They wanted the blue sippy instead of the green. The list goes on.

We get it. And that’s exactly why we created Babes with Babes. It’s a space where moms “get it”.

Our events are all kid and mom friendly. You don’t have to carry that anxiety here of worrying how your child will behave or being judged for it.

Reminiscing about the 80* weather and sun we had during our Groove and Grow Mommy + Me event at Hoover Reservoir.
The kids and mamas did a super fun outdoor Zumbini (think Zumba for kids) class and then painted flower pots and planted a flower in them.

If you haven’t already, follow Zumbini with Gretchen for details of where you can dance and groove with her and your kiddos again

Meet Gretchen Rivera! She is leading the Zumbini portion for our upcoming Groove & Grove Event April 23rd at Hoover Reservoir. ☀️

ℍ𝕖𝕣 𝔹𝕦𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤: Zumbini with Gretchen part of Wellness with Gretchen, LLC (also includes Stretchin' with Gretchen Yoga for EVERY Body)

ℍ𝕖𝕣 𝕎ℍ𝕐: I've always enjoyed group activities, especially fitness and mommy and me classes! I discovered the Zumbini program as a participant with my then 2yo daughter and fell in love with its music and energy. I'm passionate about creating a safe space for families with young children to be together, engaging in FUN activities that promote the ultimate bonding experience!

𝔸𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 ℍ𝕖𝕣: I am a wife and mother of 5yo Maria and 3 yo Anna. We have 4 dachshunds and a cat! I have been a social worker for 14 years and am an enthusiast of all things wellness. I especially love dark chocolate, yoga, boxing, running, and traveling. And a good margarita, glass of Chianti or rose', or a Moscow mule!

Babes with Babes was created by us as a space for other moms with young children to connect with like-minded moms who are open, craving adult friendships, and want to have a little fun…all while trying to raise healthy happy humans.

We met and became bffs almost instantly. Along with our friendship, our boys, Rivers and Aiden, also became bffs.

Now, we want to bring this connection a friendship to other moms around central Ohio!

Our goal is to create lifelong friendships and bring fun events that are kid friendly to you and your kiddos.
