2024 all wrapped up ✨

Our final bouquet for our final wedding of the year. This was one of my favourite bouquets, no foliage, rich tones of burgundys and pinks.

We battled wind and rain to get our flowers to the wedding ok, and even with a team member down we rallied to make a cosy,

A tumbling, fluffy arch outside the church at .court 🤍 I adored this wedding so much! Cappuccino & Bailey roses are two of my favourites ✨

So excited for our final wedding of the year this weekend - but also a bit sad that I won’t be seeing flowers for a while ! Fellow florists, I’m sure you know the feeling of needing a break and then almost immediately missing flowers 😂

Excited to be starting work on some gorgeous 2026 wedding proposals ✨

It feels a long way off but it isn’t !

Quite a lot of clients say to me, they don’t know what to expect regarding flowers, or exactly what they want. It’s totally normal, when would you have ever discussed flowers in this much detail before!

Here is how enquiring with Seed & Stem looks…

🤍submit the enquiry form on our website
🤍 receive a link to book in a Zoom consultation with me in the next couple of weeks
🤍we’ll chat about your day, your vision, and I’ll start planning as we discuss
🤍 in the coming days you will receive your proposal! A moodboard for each part of the day, illustrations of your chosen flowers in your venue and an breakdown of the costings
🤍you have two weeks where this date is reserved for you whilst we amend the proposal and catch up again
🤍yay you’ve booked in! We take a 20% deposit & send you access to your client portal with all your documents in
🤍we visit the venue together
🤍6 weeks before we catch up again & make any final amends
🤍 we’ll see you on the morning of the wedding with the flowers we dreamt up together ✨

Bringing some Festive Cheer to The Newt in Somerset this week ✨ Always fab to be back here being a Christmas Florist Elf with the in-house team.

These wreaths were so big we could barely carry them! Over 1.5m wide and full of Conifer & Oak.

Christmas at The Newt is amazing, if you have chance definitely pop down to deepest darkest Somerset!

A Honeymoon Highlight in Tupungato 🇦🇷

Estancia is a little paradise in the Andes Mountains, we ate amazing Asado, rode horses through the mountains, made empanadas and shared Mate Tea with Anna who’s family owns the ranch.

We watched condors soar over the mountains and listened to the river flow, and for 24 hours we had a perfect peace in the beautiful madness of 25 days of travel ✨

When couples take the time to write a lovely review it makes my heart swell ✨

Not only did she do the most amazing job on our wedding day, she is also the loveliest and kindest person and was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Izzy took so much time talking with us to really understand our vision and what we were after. She created a beautiful design proposal which gave us a great idea of what to expect and was also incredibly patient with us as we may changes along the way. Having spoken to lots of florists over a few weeks, Izzy really stood out to us by how caring and genuine she was about making our day perfect and how much time she gave us during the consultation.

We spoke many times over zoom and she had some lovely ideas about how best to make the florals fit naturally in to our venue, what would be available and in season for our Wedding and how best to dress the venue based on her wealth of experience. We were after a very natural, autumnal theme which she absolutely nailed. All the flowers on the day were fresh, beautiful and lasted for ages after which was a real bonus. The bouquet was a work of art and Izzy was so lovely she also gifted us two of her vases after the wedding as a present which really was above and beyond and such a lovely gesture!

On the day her team arrived early and did the most amazing set up - the venue looked amazing we are still getting comments about how beautiful everything was. We also found Izzy very well priced in comparison to many others we spoke with and her quotation was exactly what we paid with no hidden fees.

If you want the most amazing florals for your wedding then you won’t be disappointed with Seed and Stem. Thank you so much!

Some Honeymoon Spam from Patagonia 🇦🇷

If you’re planning a honeymoon then I cannot recommend Argentina more. Patagonia in particular is breathtaking and definitely the best views I have ever seen

We hiked Laguna De Los Tres to Mount Fitz Roy and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done but so worth the 10 hours and scrambling over boulders to see Fitz Roy in all its glory ✨

Guanacas are like ginger llamas and roam the land, which made the drive from Calafate even better

Finalising proposals for next year & last minute calls today before we get stuck into prep for Saturday’s wedding tomorrow.

I think the variety of this job is what keeps me here, as well as a love for the industry. Spending one day working on proposals and the next on a gorgeous site visit, every day is different ✨

Looking back on a surprisingly sunny spring day at .court where we made this gorgeous bouncy arch outside the church. Lots of different foliages, peachy roses and white accents made this fluffy half arch feel natural and wild.
