We only have 4 Judges left to announce, then we are moving onto our DJs and MCs 👀 But this next Judge is a crowd favourite and we are so excited to have him at the British Dance Festival 🇬🇧 🔥 SHIN 👣 Aaron Duncan, more known as Shin is a Creative Artist, Music Producer and Dance Choreographer born in London, UK 🇬🇧 Representing legendary International Litefeet team @2realboyz and All Style UK team @centralhypeuk 📱 He specialises in many Streetdance Styles with Hiphop and Litefeet being his main focus 🫡 Shin has won Battles across the Country and has grown Internationally 🌎 His passion and understanding for Dance and Music has given him the opportunity to work with various brands and artist such as; Wiz Kid, Burna Boy, Skindred, Samsung, Redbull and many more 🙌💥 Shin always brings the vibes to UDO events and we cant wait to have him back!

Do you guys want another Headliner at BDF 2025? 🇬🇧 We are bringing you the best of the best with this Faculty and this next Headliner Judge is no exception… We have already announced him but he deserves a proper introduction 👏 PHILIP BIRCHALL ✨🔥 Philip is a London Based Commercial Dancer with a versatile background in Latin, Ballroom, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap, with the latest Commercial Dance trends, greatly influencing his choreographic work ✨ Philip shares his expertise through workshops and masterclasses at performing arts colleges across the UK, continuing to inspire the next generation of dancers and choreographers. He also runs Mentorship and Training Programmes inspiring Dancers of all Ages and Abilities ❤️ We are so excited for Philip to join us again - Make sure you attend his workshop for some serious knowledge into the Dance Industry 📢✨

Another phenomenal Judge who is no stranger to the UDO / Encore Scene ✨ We are so thrilled to have Hannah Thomas back on the panel but for ONE DAY ONLY!❤️ Hannah trained at the Royal Ballet Upper School before transitioning into Musical Theatre where she has played “Victoria” in numerous productions of “Cats”, Dance ensemble in ENO’s production of “Carousel”. Hannah has also been in Disneys live action of “Beauty and the Beast” as well as “Mary Poppins Returns” ☂️ Hannah’s most recent appearance was in the “Wicked” movie 💚💗 You know Hannah’s technique is impeccable so make sure you attend her Workshop as she is only with us for less than 24 Hours 📢 Hannah is looking forward to Judging at the UDO British Dance Festival and seeing all the incredible talent 🤩🎭

Next up representing the LAAADDIES! 👧✨ We are so happy to have Yaz Harcourt joining the Faculty for the British Dance Festival and representing WALES! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Yasmin Harcourt is a Dancer and Creative Choreographer based in Manchester. She currently teaches full-time at Shockout Arts, where she serves as the Commercial Coordinator and Creative within the Professional and Commercial BA Hons and BTEC Degree courses 📖 Her most recent credit includes performing as an ensemble dancer in the live feature film Everyone’s Talking About Jamie – The Movie 🎥 Yasmin’s journey so far has been an incredible one. However, she knows this is just the beginning and is excited for what the present and future hold🤩 When selecting and training dancers, she looks for precision, cleanliness, dynamics, and passion - qualities that, when combined with strong performance skills and energy, create a captivating presence. More than anything, she hopes to see dancers enjoying themselves, embracing the expressive and energetic nature of the art form, and bringing joy to audiences👏🌟 She looks forward to seeing, supporting and working with dancers soon! 🫶🏻😊 Show some love to Yaz! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🔥

Next up is Litefeet & Hiphop Royalty 👑 Introducing… ‘KING K’ Aka Kieran Warner🤴🏾🇬🇧 Kieran is a Professional Dancer and Circus Artist who graduated from the National Centre for Circus Arts. He began his Dance Training in 2008 and is one of the founding members of "Jam!" (The Jam Movement) and represents World renowned crew "Fiya House" 🔥 His Training and Experience has helped Kieran to become a great Freestyle Dancer and teacher 🎤🔅 In recent years, Kieran has focused on Hip Hop and Litefeet whilst teaching, Judging and Battling around the UK and internationally. Going by his alias 'King K', Kieran is pioneering Litefeet in the UK being the first to go to New York to study and train this style🇺🇸🌎 Kieran is recognised in the Worldwide Litefeet community after taking second place in the first International Litefeet Championship and has formed ‘Empire’ to help support the European scene 🇪🇺 He represents pioneering crew, Lyve Tyme forming a bond between the UK and NY community and also curates International Dance Festivals ‘Litefest’ & ‘The Jam Festival’ among other projects 😮‍💨 SHOW SOME LOVE TO KING K 👑🙌

These Faculty Announcements aren’t slowing down, we are just getting started! 🔥 Next Up, we have Ireland’s FIRST Redbull Dance Your Style Winner… JESSIE THOMPSON 🇮🇪 Jessie is the founder of Battle of Zen and has performed her own work at many dance festivals around Ireland and UK. Some of these are: Top 8 Street Dance Platform, Dance2connect Festival, Dublin Dance Festival and Edinburgh Fringe Fest. Jessie has collected many 1st place Battle Titles in Hip Hop Freestyle and All Style Categories 🏆📐 Jessie has a longstanding Performance Career rooted in International Competitions leading to Commercial and is now focusing mostly on building the Street Dance and Theatre Scene in Ireland by event Curation/Judging/Teaching and Performing or Choreographing for Irish Music Acts 😮‍💨💥 Jessie has done UDO Worlds 🌎 and a Irish UDO Regional 🇮🇪 and is now representing Ireland at the UDO British Dance Festival! 🇬🇧 LETS GO!🔥

She has trained at The Urdang Academy in London, successfully completing the Diploma in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre 🎭 Devon has recently Choreographed and assistant Choreographed Branded Commercials, Artist Shows, TV & Music Videos and is a regular Faculty teacher at Performers College 📺 🎼 Just some of Devon’s Credentials Include: Netflix - Dance 100, UK Arena Tour - The Wanted, Disney’s Aladdin Movie, Brit Awards, X Factor Live & BGT Live! 🎤 She has also Danced For: Lizzo, Dua Lipa, DAVE, RAYE, Liam Payne, Steff LonDon, Sean Paul, Wiley, Idris Elba & Many More! 🪩 Devon is a Popular Judge on the panel and we are so excited to welcome her back! 🔥

Faculty Announcement Number 4 is a relatively new Judge to the UDO panel but has been in popular demand💥😮‍💨 We are so excited to welcome @motherfunk_dimestop to the British Dance Festival for the first time!🔥 Motherfunk is a Glasgow-based dancer specialising in the style of Popping 📐 She travels across the UK and Europe to battle, train, and teach, representing the Dimestop and AIM Popping collectives 🤩 Her journey has led her to collaborate with major brands like Breakin’ Convention, Nike, SNKRS, Footasylum, and Red Bull 👌 Passionate about sharing knowledge of dance and its culture, she focuses on empowering females who may feel intimidated by Popping through mentorship programs and online tutorials!🇬🇧✨ LETS GO MOTHERFUNK! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Faculty Announcement Number 3️⃣ 🔥 It is her FIRST time at the UDO British Dance Festival so show some love for… ALEX SCHOENDORF 💥 Alex comes from a small town in Germany and has over 16 years experience in the industry as a Professional Dancer. She has danced for some of the World’s biggest artists including; Nicki Minaj, J-LO, Dua Lipa and more!🤩 In recent years, Alex now gives back to the Dance Community and has her own Adult Mentorship Programme creating a supportive space for Dancers of all levels and backgrounds to explore, grow and teach their full potential!
