As well as the 30th /31st May workshop, Thomas is coming to Drymen, Scotland to deliver another one on the 28th/29th March.
£60 for 10-12 hours of fast paced, exhilarating playing, with snacks and coffee/teas included in the price. 10 am-5pm both days.
This workshop is not suitable for beginners and a knowledge of djembe/dun dun is preferred.

We are holding another West African Drumming Workshop on the 30/31st of May 2020 in Drymen, Scotland, with Thomas Annang of Thomas Annang Drum and Dance.This is a two day workshop where we will learn culture specific rhythms on djembe and dun duns. You must have experience of playing drums, preferably djembe and/or dun duns. This class is not suitable for beginners.
We have six early bird places for £45 instead of £60 for the whole weekend. The cost includes around 10-12 hours of teaching and playing, as well as some snacks, teas and coffees.
There are (limited) facilities to heat up/prepare your own lunch.
There is a local snack bar within walking distance where one can buy sandwiches, soups and snacks as well as soft drinks. There is also a local Spar, and there are three pubs in the village.
Your place is guaranteed, once you have paid in full. You must have paid in full by the 30th of April. Early bird must pay immediately.
If you can only come for one day, the cost is £30. Some concessions are available.
A number of djembes are available to borrow.

If you are coming from afar, there are a wide variety of local bed and breakfast and air b’n’b places available.
If you are bringing a camper van, let us know, and there should be enough off road parking space available for you to park around the venue.

Huge sadness. Thomas has been unwell and is unable to deliver the workshop on the 8/9 of February. We are going to try and squeeze in another workshop before the next scheduled one in May and will keep you informed X

Another fantastic African Drumming workshop is happening in Drymen on the 26/27 of October, 2019. Join us for a weekend of exhilarating and fast paced rhythms taught to us by Thomas Annang of Thomas Annang Drumming and Dance.
Some knowledge of drumming is essential and this workshop is best suited for people who have experience of djembe and/or dundun drumming. Dun duns will be provided and a number of djembes are available for loan.
Starts at 10am both mornings with two breaks for tea/coffee and a longer break for lunch. Snacks and lunch are included in the price.
This workshop has limited places, and a place is guaranteed once the ticket of £60 is paid in full.
