Today was a day for celebrating a life of my very best friend, but comes with a ton of pain, as I had to say goodbye to Lucy. I am eternally grateful for you being my companion throughout my childhood and adolescence. I will miss you taking naps beside me, barking at old ladies, stealing food off my plate, the excited dance when I come down the stairs in the morning, your kisses when I’m sad, wrapping you in a pile of blankets, our adventurous walks we would go on, and playing ball in the backyard. Your unconditional love will forever be apart of who I am and I hope that one day we’ll see each other again in different forms. Thank you Lucy Lu, I love you forever.
