We all fall in love with the gorgeous shots we see on IG but if you want those same shots on your wedding day, it is EXTREMELY vital that you build enough time in your wedding day timeline for your wedding photographer to capture those epic shots for you.

Here are a few tips to make sure your wedding day timeline works perfectly with the type of images you want captured on your big day.

HINT: You’re gonna want to save this!

🤍: Hire an actual Wedding Photographer. Seriously. There is no shade here but having a photographer that specializes in weddings is one of the first things you can do to ensure you get the images you want.

🤍: Know what your dream shots are. For example: You've spent a lot of time & money on your details and decor so you know you want lots of photos of your ceremony & reception decor. You have to build time into your timeline for your Photographer to get these shots.

🤍: Ask your Photographer how much time he/she needs to get the dream shots you want. We LOVE getting asked this so don’t be shy! This way, your wedding planner knows how much time to allot during the different portions of the day for the photography team you’ve hired.

🤍: Hire actual wedding vendors. You’d think this had zero to do with photography but OMG it does! Every vendor you hire should be a professional wedding vendor. If they run late, the first thing that is cut on wedding day is photo time. It’s so unfair to you but unfortunately, it’s the truth. Hire vendors that know AND CARE how weddings work and will adhere to the timeline you’ve diligently created.

🤍: Be on time. You’ve built this glorious timeline that includes ample time to give you the swoon worthy shots you crave. You’ve hired bomb wedding professionals to get the job done. Yes it’s your day and things happen but if you want your dream to come to reality, you’ve got to do your part and show up ready to love and slay!😉
