Hi there! I thought it was about time I re-introduced myself to those of you who are new to my little page 🫶🏻

I’m Alex! And if you haven’t already guessed, I really really love marrying people 🤍

I wear a few different hats in life: wife, mum (to both human 🩷 and fur babies 🐾), and young(ish) celebrant with a passion for creating fun, and meaningful ceremonies that make couples feel like they are being married by their oldest friend.

Most days you’ll find me juggling mum life, a side-gig in HR, and most importantly creating beautiful ceremonies for my clients 🤍

In the slower moments I love to head to the gym, get my crime ju**ie podcast fix or simply spend time outdoors in the sunshine with my little girl and my 🐶

Connecting with people has always been something that has filled my cup, and at 29 I realised that celebrancy might just bring me the joy I had been missing in my previous careers.
Fast forward 5 years and I have married countless couples all over Sydney, Hawkesbury, the Blue Mountains and the Southern Highlands. Being a part of these real and raw moments has been such an honour for me.

My little business has grown from a love of people (and people in love 🥰); and I am blown away at what it is becoming. I am truly grateful for all my couples - past, present and future - that have entrusted me to tell their stories in the most genuine way, and be a part of their wedding memories.

Thank you for following along on this journey with me, and I look forward to sharing many more of my spring/summer ceremonies with you as we work our way through the remainder of this magical 2025 wedding season 💍

Having your kids involved in your ceremony will always be a big YES from me 🫶🏻

Jordana and Stephen made sure their babies were as much of a focus on their day as they were 🤍

Jordana organised a surprise recording from their daughter Riley to be played for her daddy prior to the ceremony starting (this guaranteed there was not a dry eye in the house!), they were included in their morning prep (and of course walking with mum down the aisle), and my personal favourite was the fact they could just be free to run at mum and dads feet during the ceremony and as they said their I-Do’s.

Yes, kids can be unpredictable… but they can also bring so much authenticity, spontaneity and meaning to what can often be a very structured day.

I loved all the little ways Jordana and Stephen included their beautiful children in their ceremony and know it’s those memories that will be truly cherished 🫶🏻

Today they are celebrating their first wedding anniversary as Mum & Dad, with their little man earth-side and in their arms- such a special and full circle moment.

Brea & Michael - 12.09.2025 🤎
I was a bit delayed in writing this post as this ceremony was an extra special one for me (I am never usually lost for words but there is a first for everything right? 😉).

On Friday I had the pleasure of marrying these two beautiful humans who just so happen to be my brother-in-law & his gorgeous new wife.

Over the past six years they have grown from a fresh new relationship, to making the leap and moving in together, becoming fur-parents to Louis 🐶, getting engaged in the Hunter Valley, buying their first home and most importantly welcoming their beautiful little boy into the world (who encompasses all the best bits of his parents).
Along with our family, I have had the pleasure of baring witness to it all, and on Friday I had the pleasure of baring witness again as they exchanged vows, made promises and shared so many laughs and tears.

Brea and Michael said their I-Do’s at my absolute favourite little local venue (shoutout to ) and their day was captured by the most amazing local photographers ( and )..
And of course, the biggest bonus was that I had the privilege of standing with them as their celebrant 🤍

The Poli’s have officially gained another member (although Brea was always part of the family from the very start)- and we are so much better off for that.

The love these two have for one another was clear to every single person who attended- and these pictures capture glimpses of what was such a fun, relaxed, meaningful day that we will always remember 🤍

A huge congratulations to Brea and Michael - The newest Mr & Mrs Poli 🤎… and a promise that this is probably just the first of many posts I will make about this incredible day.

“When they are not planning their next Bali visit, they find happiness just enjoying the simple things in life - spending time together, or with Molly and Maxi, bonding over fast cars, European cars or Franklins Toranas, enjoying some shopping or a Bunnings trip, or being able to catchup on the phone with their German or Bali family. Ellen and Franklin love spending every minute of the day with each other, and its rare that you will ever find them apart.
