Hartford City Hall is such an iconic space to take formal portraits in. Be it your engagement shoot or your wedding formals, the space is always a vibe!
Using the City of Hartford as an inspiration for this full wedding, M & A decided to take several pictures outside to capture the architecture of Hartford’s seat of government.

No two fusion weddings are the same, but what most of our couples have is that they continue to choose to have a first look.
Building a first look into any timeline takes intention, coordination of people and an evaluation of priorities.
R & D decided to throw another logistical hurdle on the planning team by having their first look in the museum’s clock tower. Getting the couple to the top, without seeing on another took an entirely different level of intentionality!

Designing your additional wedding events is just as important as the wedding/ reception.
Your haldi, mehndi, Sangeet or bridal shower are places where your other wild ideas and vibes can shine.
We often encourage changing up the seating and adding in a beautiful lounge for most of these events to create a less formal vibe.

The most impactful portion of your timeline on your wedding day is the hair & makeup schedule.
Researching & contracting professional artists is apart of our full service package for our couples.
Professional artists understand the time needed to successfully complete both hair & makeup without compromising the integrity of their craft.
When creating a wedding day timeline for an intercultural wedding, it imperative that we work with both teams to ensure that they have everything they need (adequate space, lighting and a water 😉) in effort to keep the day on time.
The space you choose to have bridal hair and makeup applied also matters. You want the time to be serene, peaceful and beautiful.
Our bride chose the beautiful Smith Farms to set the scene!

Being an Intercultural wedding planner means that you have to think outside of the box and bring flexible when combining traditions of significance.
P & J married one another under a beautiful mandap, but it was important for the couple to break the glass after the ceremony to honor his familial tradition.
Ensuring that you, your extended families & guest get to enjoy the breadth of rituals is special! And special, requires expertise!
