Ornamental Kale aren't in season at the moment but who doesn't love a throw back to some old arrangements in the gallery 💜
Cassy currently has me as your go to XL arrangement designer and creator.
I love them, but they are massive and I really can't wait to get out of lock down so my body can have a massage!
Trying to figure out how to connect this page with my Flower instagram, so while I try to figure it out...
A client today asked for an 'Artistic' bunch for her loved one, so I got creative!
Well thats the wrap for Mothers Day 2021.
I took three photos on the weekend, so here are most of this mornings orders, just to show you that some how I'm still going.
I thought I was going to have a lovely weekend off after said she would manage the weekend without me.
After having a lovely sleep in Saturday, I woke to a message from Cassy saying she had, had an accident, was in hospital and didn't know what to do.
So there I was thinking bloomin' heck, I've been doing Floristry for 10 months and I am doing Mothers Day for two established business by myself!!
Where do I start... and during the weekend when will this finish!
I can't thank the team of minions behind the scenes for their support, help, encouragement and massive efforts on the weekend for helping the businesses get through.
To Tam I wouldn't have been able to do it without you! To our fab drivers Georgie, Elijah and Jamie. To Cassys family especially her ever so hard working mum, Ann Marie.
And of course to my partner in fluro for coming from his own workplace to work with me into the night and then to help deliver Melbourne wide, your love and support is what helped get me through. Thank You Team!
After losing my job last year, my self confidence and worth has been hard to find.
To be given the job and have Cassys faith, that I could run her 2 businesses and get my first Mothers day as a florist complete was a big achievement to say the least, no matter how wrecked and sore I am today.
Cassy thanks for choosing me as your business lifeline, for having faith in me that I'll just get the job done, and most importantly for appreciating my hard work.
Now to find time to have a little rest.

Here today is a picture of my past and my future mingling on my mantel. Special Travel memories from my last major international trip to some of Africa's Southern countires, mixed with my 'Everlasting' love for both past and current career journeys.
Little did any of us know what 2020 would throw at us...
Today I reflect on this day last year... When reality of my future started setting in.
I had been, at yet another great networking event on the Thursday night, in an industry and lifestyle that always will have my heart and soul...Travel!
I knew the news of the coronavirus wasn't great, but the reality that it would take my job, along with my peers and industry was far beyond my initial thoughts.
This small event was one I will not forget. The support and care from all, after receiving the news that I was to be redundant immediately, gave the feeling like I was just at a family gathering.
Those who live and breathe Travel will know that our peers are pretty much family. A family filled with much fun, happiness, many stories, and care. A family and an industry that I so dearly miss.
The Travel Industry has been hit severely hard in the last 12 months, especially to those who rely heavily on international travel, like I did. Travel stopped as soon as borders closed and the industry is yet to be rebooted, as international borders remain closed.
If you know someone in any shape or form, in or from this industry reach out and give them your love and support as they navigate the next days, weeks, months and years of change ahead.
Today I think about how I grew my career in travel, where I would be and what I would have achieved if it weren't for coronavirus.
I then look at where I am today...
I am no longer in Sales and I am now a 'mature' aged Apprentice Florist. Thankful to have been employed by such a beautiful woman Cassy, who is open to teaching me the ins and outs of Floristry, along with many lessons that come with life and business ownership.
I couldn't ask for a better boss to teach me the the ropes in my floristry career journey!
