Good afternoon from not-quite-sunny Fort William! We’re passing through on our way down to Comrie for our hols.
Yesterday we put this beautiful bouquet on the ferry from Eriskay over to Barra in beautiful sunshine. Went back down to Lochboisdale to be met with torrential rain!
We’re away until Sunday and the shop is closed until Thursday September 1st. I’ll respond to all messages and emails on my return unless they are time sensitive wedding related messages which I’ll get to as quickly as I can!
If you can recommend anywhere in the Perthshire area for us to go comment below or send me a message and I’ll check it out!

I was meant to have a nice, relaxing weekend but I’ve spent all of it trying to track down our flower delivery that arrived tonight instead of Friday!
But they’re here now and we’re back on track!

I’ve spent today ordering flowers, taking a walk on the beach and drinking lots of coffee!
Tomorrow I have to start tearing apart the studio ready to receive flowers later in the week with new business cards and stickers on the way too!
Now it’s time for some cheese and crackers and a good nights sleep!

If you've ever been curious about how I make foam free bases for my installations and other designs then wonder no more.
For this particular effort I used my Christmas tree (all cut up) and some chicken wire to create eco-friendly dried sausages that can be used for designs over and over again without having to worry about throwing a huge mass of microplastics into the environment!

This video is a close up of the foam free hanging installation that our little team made on day 2 of the class.
I have some lovely installs coming up this year so it was wonderful to learn and play with some new techniques and mechanics to make sure I'm ready to tackle them all!
