Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Šikšna is a resident at the community radio station Slack’s and one of the key people behind BULKA Erotika. In his DJ sets and production, Šikšna explores analogue, experimental sounds and gritty atmosphere. He also regularly organises party nights, radio appearances and collaborations with like-minded artists in Newcastle, striving to create a space for those with appreciation for heavier, left-of-field electronica.

Newcastle gyvenantis DJ ir prodiuseris Šikšna – vienas pagrindinių BULKA Erotika kolektyvo narių ir bendruomenės radijo stoties “Slack’s” rezidentas. Savo kūryboje ir selekcijoje Šikšna tyrinėja eksperimentinį, analoginį skambesį ir grubesnius, atšiaurią atmosferą kuriančius garsus. Atlikėjas taip pat yra aktyvus vietinės Newcastle bendruomenės narys ir reguliariai organizuoja renginius bei radijo pasirodymus su bendraminčiais, taip tęsdamas BE kolektyvo idėją – kurti ratą žmonių, kuriuos domina leftfield elektroninė muzika.

Skara is a DJ and producer from the Lithuanian coast. In his sessions, Skara bounces between acid techno, hard house and distorted electronica, crafting emotional and energetic moments that are sure to keep dancers on their toes. A co-founder of BULKA Erotika collective, Skara has run a number of parties in Newcastle, UK. Now based in Lithuania, he has been making appearances on club and festival line-ups.

In the lead up to April 19th, introducing .music, Kaunas-based DJ and producer, who has made himself in the scene by blending elements of electro, EBM, and obscure techno. He is a resident at Lizdas Club and a co-owner of PZ Records. His skills on the decks and in the studio have caught the attention of fans and fellow musicians alike, leading to performances at some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the region. Sharing the stage with industry heavyweights such as Fjakk, Helena Hauff, Schwefelgelb, Umwelt, and DJ MELL G, to name a few. In 2021, Ement released his debut LP on the co-curated PZ Records label. In 2023, he released a track on fabric records in a compilation: "Fabric presents Helena Hauff".

The Journey

There's quite a history behind BULKA Erotika and North East Lithuanian house parties in general. It all started about four years ago when Newcastle's electronic scene was literally underground. The lack of quality techno events forced a group of friends to create a space for like-minded people to participate in. More and more people flocked in with every event and as the neighbours were writing their noise complaints, we were searching for new houses to throw parties at. Throughout the years we had pleasure hosting Suktines, langines and SHUDO Kultas parties. Now we've reached the point where no-one from our group can throw any more parties at home. To combat this we made our party series open to public.
