Repurposing ceremony florals for your reception is a great way to maximize your floral investment and enhance the overall aesthetic of your day.
Imagine moving the beautiful arbor from your ceremony to stand behind your sweetheart table or placing the grounded arrangements in front of it. This not only ties the entire event together but also ensures your floral designs continue to shine as you celebrate with your guests. It’s a simple way to create a cohesive and elegant atmosphere throughout your wedding!

I’ll say it again: first looks are the best.
Here’s why: it allows the couple to share a private, intimate moment away from the crowd. The groom can fully appreciate his bride’s preparation—dress, hair, makeup—without any distractions. It also gives the couple a chance to exchange personal vows privately, and it allows more time for post-ceremony photos or enjoying the cocktail hour.
Sheridan and Andrey chose to do a first look and shared their personal vows with their bridal party and immediate family. There wasn’t a dry eye in sight.

I had the honor to hold this title for my best friend and maid of honor in my own wedding. I’m endlessly happy for my bestie, her hubby & their sweet littles.
With guests in mind always provide a bar menu. This way there’s no guessing what’s available and keeps the bar from bottlenecking.
First looks are priceless whether it be with your fiancé, your siblings, your bridesmaids - but the biggest tear jerker are the ones with dad. The look in their eyes as they see their little girl playing dress up transform into a bride in the blink of an eye.
Pro tip: have the tissues near by

Erin + Justin sat with not only their bridal party but their guests as well; 28 people. The love at this table was unmatched.
P.S. this color pallet is to die for 💞

Live musicians for your ceremony. You can’t convince me there’s a more romantic entrance. 🎶
📸
Es**rt cards are a timeless, simple way & affordable option to direct your guests to their seats.
I printed these for Erin + Justin the week of the wedding (from home) to ensure they had all the time they needed to arrange their seating chart. DM me if you have any questions on the products used. P.S. 150 es**rt cards could cost you as little as $26… you can’t beat it.

Golden hour; usually after your formal dances and cake cutting, right before you’re busting a move with your favorite people.
📸
Items to consider for your tablescape; linens, florals, candles, chargers, flatware, glassware & personal details. Personal details can include favors, menus, thank yous, placecards and a guest favorite - scratch offs.

When should speeches fall in your timeline? This depends on your dinner style and guest count.
A served dinner I always suggest speeches start during salad service. This ensures your guests are able to begin enjoying their meal and catering can keep pace with their dinner service.
A buffet style dinner service can be lead with speeches or you can hold speeches until all guests have visited the buffet. I will always suggest any welcome speech or prayer be the lead into the buffet service.

Who doesn’t love a good wedding favor. Nothing makes me happier than finding a koozie from a wedding to remember the day.
📸
Your vendors are the foundation of your wedding. Choose vendors you feel comfortable and confident in, it makes all the difference.
📸
Menu Cards can be doubled as a Thank You to your guests. Add a message on the back, alternating the cards at each place setting.

Madison + Nate were married on family property. This day can only be described as a fairytale, we made Madison’s vision come to live for an epic party!
I cannot say enough about Tap Truck Rochester, these guys are too much fun.
Get married on the family farm 🐐

The layout, the centerpieces, the drapery ✨
My favorite part of coordinating; seeing the couple at ease and enjoying their special day.
We were sure to schedule extra time for the newlyweds to enjoy one another between their ceremony and reception.
The Historic German House has the coziest, modern bridal suite. Catherine was able to get ready on site before heading to an off site ceremony.
An actual fairytale for Catherine + Daniel at Sara’s Garden Center. I think this was one of the hottest days of summer but it was all worth it.
Timeline tip: schedule at least 30 minutes of bridal portraits to sneak away as newlyweds. Rachel found this dreamy field just down the road from the venue.
Those post ceremony smiles 🍾
To the old friend who sparked the match of LGH Events, trusting me in planning and coordinating your big day, there are no words to express my gratitude.
Holly blossomed from my JV basketball buddy to the most beautiful bride on her wedding day. We spent months working out the details of her big day and catching up on life in between. It was such an honor to be a part of this day!
