💜💕This Superhero party is just... Super amazing!

💜💕Use generic themed Superhero tableware instead of tableware specific to a certain Superhero/Superheroes.

💜💕Bring in characters by way of centerpieces and accent pieces How fun are these Superhero bust banks on the table!

💜💕Include themed activity books and other items as additional table decor. The Superhero cups, crazy straws and Create Your Own Comic Books with Superhero pencils were a hit.

💜💕 Happy National Superhero Day! 🦸🏾‍♂️🦸🏾‍♀️ In honor of superheroes everywhere, today we'll take a look at some awesome setups and share some tips along the way.

💜💕This Superhero sleepover is just... Super cool. 😎

💜💕To make the unique skyline tents, we used adhesive felt for the buildings and windows. 🌃 Super easy!

💜💕The extra drawstring backpacks were repurposed to make matching pillows. Simply remove the strings and turn the backpack inside out. Sew the top closed, leaving a small opening. Turn the backpack right-side out. Stuff with Poly-Fil and sew the remaining opening closed. And voila. Super cute!

💜💕 Use Superhero bandanas as cute tray covers. Super simple!

💜💕Decorate the tents with Superhero action words. Super fun!

💜💕 TIPS TO HAVING AN AMAZING MERMAID PARTY

Add Fun Activities!

💜💕 Pin the Tail on the Mermaid
Use a mermaid poster or create your own. Print and cut mermaid tails for each guest. Follow the same rules as Pin the Tail on the Donkey.

💜💕 Treasure Hunt
Fill a trunk with treasures and hide it in the event space. Make sure there are enough treasures for everyone. Create and print a map and leave clues along the trail.

💜💕 Go Fish
Purchase a magnetic fishing game from places like Oriental Trading], , , or . If not already marked, add numbers to each fish. Allow the kids to take turns and award gifts based on the coordinating numbers of the fish they catch.

💜💕 Ring Toss
Purchase an inflatable octopus or dolphin ring toss game from Oriental Trading. Award small prizes for each successful toss.

💜💕 TIPS TO HAVING AN AMAZING MERMAID PARTY

💜💕 Don’t forget your mermaid friends!

Add seahorses, turtles, fish and other sea creatures to the decor. These mermaid friends can be brought in with balloons, added to centerpieces, or used on treat tables. Themed tableware is a great way to add all of the mermaid friends at once.

💜💕 TIPS TO HAVING AN AMAZING MERMAID PARTY

💜💕 Use pool noodles to create coral reef!

Cut your pool noodle to the desired length. Using a box cutter on an angle, start at the top and cut through to the middle of the pool noodle. Continue turning and cutting. Do not cut all the way down. Leave at least 6” at the bottom. Start at the top again and repeat. For a different look, cut several 1” slices from the pool noodle. Use wire to stick through and stack the slices on edge. Bend the wire to the desired shape.

💜💕 TIPS TO HAVING AN AMAZING MERMAID PARTY

Mermaid tails everywhere!

💜💕 Centerpieces
Wrap colored mason jars with fishing net and fill with sand and seashells. Place foam or cardstock mermaid tails on sticks into the sand. Adorn the mason jars with starfish.

Place large foam or wood mermaid tails on a base and surround with coral reef.

💜💕 Cupcake Toppers
Make your own cupcakes or purchase them. Create mermaid cupcake toppers with glitter cardstock. Cut out the mermaid tail shape using a cutting machine or purchase the cutouts on Etsy. Use colorful sprinkles or add crushed graham crackers to mimic sand. You can also purchase a mold to make chocolate or fondant tails.

💜💕 Balloons
Create giant mermaid tail balloon columns or purchase mermaid tail Mylar balloons to decorate the room.

💜💕 Favors
Use the same mold that was used for the cupcake toppers to create mermaid lollipops or fill mermaid tail shaped favor boxes with goodies.
