About last night... The event benefiting held at HQ was a fabulous, fun, and inspiring night. My favorite part was when one of the youth advisory council members read us a poem she wrote while on a hike- she asked if we knew ourselves without all the outside pressures and to be true to who we are. It was so impactful to hear this from a teen!

PSST have you heard there is going to be a solar Eclipse on April 8th? The Katahdin region will be one of there areas in Maine that will experience one of the longest totality (the moon’s shadow completely covers the sun) of this solar event!

Below is the link to star parks, places to eat and fun events taking place in the region.

MPEP will be at the and will be hosting a live FB event for anyone not able to attend and still wants to virtually experience. Stay tuned for more information.

That said we highly encourage you to visit! I have completely be in “aw” of the views of the majestic Katahdin mountain and the great places to visit!

When invited to host their annual Bow Ties and Bean Boots event at their newly reconstructed HQ- I of course went into overdrive of brainstorming unique design concepts and fun event elements. One of the concepts was taking old L.L.Bean shirts that it was time to repurpose and turned them into bow ties. These will be available to purchase at the event. What do you think?

It's time to make your plans for the Eclipse! Join us on Monday, April 8th 2024 at one our three premier Eclipse viewing locations on campus of NEOC! Each viewing location offers a full day of fun, delicious food, and live music entertainment! Bands performing on-site at our different locations include the famous Maine band; The Mallett Brothers Band, Chase Jobe & The Runnin’ Kind, Andi Fawcett, Brian Walker, and Brian Smith Music!

Prices vary per location - guaranteed parking, flush facilities, food all day, eclipse viewing glasses, live music, and a premier viewing space to watch the event is all included in your selected Day Pass! Passes are selling and are limited in quantity to ensure a great, non-crowded experience. Be sure to secure your pass as soon as possible. We will not be permitting day-of entry without a pass.

Beverages will be available for purchase at each location! Knife Edge Brewing will have their first ever canned micro brew, MOON SHADOW - a Session IPA, releasing on 4/08 for this event!

Grab a cylinder vase, clip a few branches off your tree, put in the vase, add water, and then put cranberries on top. You can put a tea light on top or dried 🍊 slice. Adds a pop of color and height. 🌲

>>Finding a theme and tastefully incorporating it throughout! Like this wedding, we used colorful buoys throughout the reception that complimented the soft blue base color and pops of colors in the flowers.
