With 20 different sized bags that fit inside one another and a token in the middle to be exchanged for a prize of your choice, the parcel is quick and easy to fill with space for a little surprise of your choosing in each layer. The large buttons are easy for little fingers to undo and best of all, this game avoids all of the waste associated with traditional paper versions! If you are planning a children’s party and would like to make a booking, just send us a message. A £10 deposit is required (fully refundable on return of the item) and the hire cost is just £3.

It’s been another busy weekend for party’s! Thanks to everyone who has used our party packs recently and to those of you who have booked ahead for parties over the coming months! For anyone who has a party coming up, if you haven’t yet sourced your party tableware, decorations or games, don’t worry, we still have some availability most weekends. Did you know, 10% of all hire charges go direct to charity and our current cause is Victoria Park Primary School PTFA.

We had a busy start to the year with party bookings, followed by a period isolating due to Covid, so have just now been catching up on admin and are pleased to announce that we have just donated £30 to Victoria Park Primary School PTFA from bookings in 2021 (that’s £37.50 with gift aid!)

If you have a party coming up and are in need of party tableware, decorations or games do get in touch. Not only is it cheaper than most disposables and better for the environment, but in doing so you can also help us raise funds for the local school!

We’ve had a steady stream of bookings so far this year and are pleased to see all of our Standard Party Packs, as well as several of our Party Games ready to go out to parties this weekend.

If you have a party coming up and would like to make a booking, just send us a message letting us know what you would like to hire and when and we can let you know availability. To secure a booking, all that is required up front is a £10 deposit (fully refundable on return of the items).

Items can generally be collected the evening before or morning of your event and returned the same or following evening.

Despite being closed for the first half of 2021, we have been delighted with the number of bookings of our Pastel and Bright Party Packs, and various party games over the past 7 months since reopening! Items have been used for 40th and 70th birthdays, end of term parties, camping trips, Halloween celebrations as well as lots of children’s birthdays. The parachute and Eco Pass the Parcel have both proved really popular and we’ve had lots of complements on our lovely bunting. Thank you to everyone who has hired from us and to everyone who has supported us by liking, commenting and sharing our posts. In total we estimate that together we have saved over 1,275 items from landfill in 2021! Happy 2022!

Can you believe there are only 4 weeks left of term before the children break-up for Christmas! If you or your organisation are planning a Christmas Party, please do get in touch to hire your party pack asap to avoid disappointment. Packs are available in bright or pastel shades, which will look gorgeous alongside your Christmas decorations and each pack contains plates, tumblers, bowls, jugs, serving dishes and tablecloths for 20 people. If you are having a larger party, we have extra plates, tumblers and bowls available to add on at a small additional charge to allow you to cater for up to 30 people with the one party pack. It is also possible to hire two matching packs if you are looking to cater for even bigger groups of up to 40 guests!

This Tumbling Towers games has been out to a number of parties recently, however last weekend was quiet for bookings, so I got it out for my own children to have a play. One of the things I like about this game is how versatile it is. You can play the “proper” game of building a tower by removing bricks and replacing them on top without toppling the stack. You can also simply play and build with the blocks. In our case, one child built a castle, whilst the others made a giant domino run. The Tumbling Towers game can be hired on its own for £4 or as part of a Party Games Pack which also includes a 12ft play parachute, Eco Pass the Parcel and Bean Bag Toss game all for £10. Here are some photos of the Bright Party Pack in use last weekend for Halloween. Personally I think the bright colours look wonderful alongside the pumpkins and decorations and one of the good things about these Party Packs is that they really are versatile to suit pretty much any occasion. Better still, over the last few weeks alone we have together saved another 300 items from landfill!

This past weekend the play parachute had another outing and I hear it was a big hit with the kids! Children’s birthday parties don’t have to be complicated or expensive and a play parachute is a perfect way to keep the children entertained. There is something about the bright colours and sheer size of the parachute that makes it instantly appealing and one of the joys of parachute games is that they are all about cooperation and team work so there is no need for prizes and nobody is out. Following the easing of COVID restrictions on Monday, we are pleased to announce that we are now open and taking bookings for the summer!

Please be aware that Bedminster Eco Party Packs will be adhering to the following guidance for party kit hire during the COVID-19 pandemic:

• Party kit hire can take place based on the maximum number permitted to gather in each area / tier. We will not lend to illegal gatherings.
• Returned items will be put out of circulation between hires.
• Use of online payment via bank transfer is encouraged where possible.
• Please cancel your booking if you or anyone in your household has a positive test for COVID-19 or has experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days; this includes a cough, high temperature or loss of taste or smell.
• Please do not arrange to hire a kit if you are required to quarantine after returning from aboard.
• Please be aware that your booking may be cancelled if the party kit owner or a member of their household develop any symptoms of COVID-19, have a confirmed case or the local lockdown restrictions change.
