Esa’ala Cave also known as the Mother of all Caves, located in Esa'ala, Milne Bay, Papua New Guinea is one of the most mysterious and least explored caves in the world. Known as the deepest cave globally, it remains 70% unexplored, with its true depth still unknown. In 1998, a team of 13 explorers ventured into the cave, but only one survived the perilous journey. The story inspired the movie "Sanctum," which depicts their harrowing experience. This cave also has literary significance, as it was immortalized in Samuel Taylor Coleridge's famous poem "Kubla Khan."
