As a rule of thumb, you want to send your invitations out 3 months before the wedding day.
Your Save the Dates should go out 5-6 months before the day. However, they can be sent out as early as a year in advance!
Don't forget to take into consideration the address collecting, addressing, and mailing of the physical invitation!
