Hi guys, this year I’m running for ball chair. Here’s my manifesto and the link for voting which is open now!

As someone who has organised successful events in the past I feel I am a good candidate for Ball chair. I can bring a creative touch to this job. I want to make events as colourful and fun as possible, whilst also keeping it affordable. I will try to organise balls that will be inclusive for everyone, hopefully being able to present a number of themes and ideas that lots of members of the college will enjoy. Being a level headed, organised person means that if anything is to go wrong I will be able to act quickly and not panic. However, with these skills I will try my best to make events run smoothly without stress. I will be working hard to provide the best venues and decorations available to us using any budget I am presented with, using my skills to find the whatever is most affordable but of the best quality. I will also try and work personally with members of the college and JCR committee to get their input on the things that they would like to see at these events, such as, music, themes, food and drinks etc. Having a confident voice to help me I will be able to interact with as many members of the college as I can and come up with new and unique ideas for future events.
