After a lot of thought I have decided to close Occa Hire in order to focus on family and go back to pursuing a career in childcare and education. Thanks you so much for all that supported and had events with me. I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
I don’t normally offer a gazebo, but todays couple really wanted that touch of fun despite the unpredictable weather. We made the last minute decision yesterday to go ahead with 20% chance of rain. So here’s our set up with the option to spread out from the gazebo if it brightened up.

My favourite part of working on a wedding is finding the perfect spot for a game and helping your day transition smoothly 😊 In the picture I’ve just moved the games from the welcome drinks reception to the marquee ready for after the wedding breakfast, super sneaky while everyone was enjoying their food 😏

This story will restore your faith in humanity 💖 Lowri Jones and Mark Bernard woke up excited for their wedding day this morning. But, their excitement soon turned to heartbreak as they heard the devastating news that their venue had caught fire in the early hours of the morning. As firefighters battled the blaze, the venue was evacuated and members of the public were advised to avoid the area 😔 After months of tireless planning and preparation - their special day looked like it would be called off at the eleventh hour. But, just as all hope was lost, a nearby venue came to their rescue. Around 60 members of staff at Oldwalls Gower cancelled their annual leave and rushed into work to save the day. They moved the entire wedding party to the new venue and arranged for the same registrars, meal, and all 100 guests to be able to attend. The loved-up couple tied the knot during a magical ceremony in front of family and friends - and praised staff for "saving the day". What an incredible act of generosity and kindness 🥰🙌❤️
