This weekend is Alabama Freestyle and Greco State Championship!!

Huntingdon is not only hosting the tournament, but they're hosting a camp before!

This tournament qualifies the HS Boys and Girls for Fargo. Younger kids also find placement on national dual teams.

As you look at the Youth and High School State Tournaments, pay attention to the kids who are wrestling Freestyle and Greco during the off-season.

They won't be hard to miss; they are the ones on the podium!

River Rats Wrestling Club will start Freestyle training March 1st.

We will practice 2 days a week.
Tuesday and Thursday 530-730p and occasional weekends if interested.

If By chance, we have a large number of kids signed up (youth and high school), we will divide kids into different days. If needed, Monday and Wednesday 530-730p.

Well, good, because after HS season, the girl's wrestling will pick up. Most of USA Wrestling tournaments will have a girls division. Including tournaments like Fargo, National Duals, and Super 32.

The Florida High School Athletic Association votes yes to sanction girls wrestling in Florida beginning in the 2021-22 season. Florida becomes the 24th state to sanction.
