Prayer for Safety of Mark Eiron Siguerra and the rest of the passengers of Cessna 206 RP C-1174
The University Community fervently requests everyone to be one with us in offering our Prayer for Safety to Mark Eiron Siguerra, his ten-year-old brother, two of his relatives and the rest of the passengers of Cessna 206 RP-C1174.
The plane was en route from Cauayan Airport to Maconacon Airport Tuesday afternoon when it was later reported missing. Related government agencies are currently undertaking search and rescue operations.
Mark Eiron is one of our students under the Mechanical Engineering program of the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) welcomed the Director-General of Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mr. Yutaka Arima yesterday, 27 January 2023.
The Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff for Strategic Studies and Modernization (CG-15), CG Captain Eric Ferrancullo welcomed him aboard BRP Melchora Aquino (MRRV 9702) together with CG Captain Antonio Sontillanosa Jr, the Alternate Commanding Officer of the vessel.
During the visit, a facility tour was arranged for Mr Arima aboard the Coast Guard vessel and highlighted the continuous cooperative engagements of the Japanese Government with the PCG.
Also present during the visit were Mr. Manabu Ota (Director, Southeast Asian Division II), Mr. Koji Ito (Assistant Director, Southeast Asian Division II), Mr. Kenichi Matsuda (Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Japan), Commander (CDR) Natsuki Yonezawa (Coast Guard Attaché, Embassy of Japan), Ms. Mayu Suzuki (Third Secretary, Embassy of Japan), CDR Hiroaki Onodera (Japam International Cooperation Agency Long-Term Expert).
PCG officers likewise participating in the meeting were Deputy Commander, Coast Guard Fleet CG Captain Roderick Elioran; and Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff for Ships and Aircraft Engineering, (CG-10) CG Captain Laurel Paul Mariano Jr and other PCG officers.
