In conclusion of Olive Branch Homecoming week 2024-25, we were honored to present a local living legend with long deserved recognition of tenured servant leadership, outstanding role model impact & profound community contributions.

🏆 This year’s “Golden Legacy Award” belongs to the one & only - Coach Lynne Davis, a devoted 30 year educator, coach, mentor and leader of Olive Branch Middle School and beyond. As the pioneering Fellowship of Christian Students & Purity Pledge program leader in DeSoto County, Coach Davis made impacts that spread wide & far including creating the famous “OB Pride” slogan tagline and also naming OBHS’s gymnasium after fellow city legend, Coach Charlie Bibbs - she made her mark on Quistor history through her life, work & example.

In addition to currently serving in her retirement as a personal trainer at the OB YMCA, she thoroughly enjoys worshiping at The Great Commission Church (where her eldest son is Pastor) & spending time with her family, friends and grandsons. Please join us in congratulating Coach Davis on a lifetime of exemplary service & incredible impact on the Olive Branch community, culture & alumni! 💙⚔️💛
