So I received an interesting question the other day and I had to share, because it really made me stop, because to be honest, I got a little emotional, and without tearing up I’d like to share

The question was: When you see a specific flower, do you think of someone special in your life?

The answer is YES! I have many, but I will share one maybe two🌹

Gladiolus, Roses and Hydrangeas make me think of my beautiful grandmother that I never had the pleasure of meeting, because she passed the same year I was born. But the memories and stories of her live within my mother, siblings, aunts and uncles who’ve shared so many memories of her over my 32 years of life.

I’m forever grateful for it. I think of the time I've spent with my mom and continue to spend with my mom in the garden as she’s sharing stories of my grandmother while we are playing in the dirt planting roses(they also make me think of my amazing mom)and it’s a reminder of what a beautiful connection one flower can bring to so many generations.

I may not have been blessed to meet my grandmother, but I feel so connected to her because of the deep connection I have with my mom and flowers, and it’s truly a blessing.

So I will ask all of you, When you see a specific flower, do you think of someone special in your life? And who is that person to you?

Hello Friends! Welcome to my ! So we have just learned that Monarch butterflies have been placed on the endangered species list, and as a lover of butterflies and all things flowers I need to remind people that a huge reason why this has occurred is because of the TROPICAL MILKWEED PLANT. I know that a lot of people may think that it’s safe and that it’s sold everywhere and called the “butterfly plant” for a reason, because it causes butterflies to breed more, but in actuality, because the plant is available literally year round, it’s causing confusion in the monarch butterflies migration patterns. In the winter time when the monarchs should be in migration, they are breeding instead. Researchers found that monarchs that did not migrate were more likely to be infected by the protozoan Ophryocystis elektroscirrha (OE), which causes the butterflies to suffer from wing deformities, smaller body size, reduced flight performance, and shorter adult lifespans. There are over 100 different species of milkweed and “TROPICAL MILKWEED” due to it being available year around is the most dangerous to these beautiful creatures! I am not a scientist or a conservation expert I just know this Information from reading research because I am a lover of these creatures. So please don't snub me I'm not claiming to be an expert on the Matter.

My name is Claudia, and I am the woman behind Petal to Stem Florals. Things to know about me…
I am 32 years old, I am immensely passionate about Florals, I am a very optimistic person, I love making others happy, I’m a big hugger and a Sprinkles lover! ☺️
I’ve always had a passion for flowers. It started when I was young, and my mom was definitely the one who instilled that passion in me. I get a lot of joy designing florals for my customers and their loved ones. It’s like opening up a gift on Christmas morning! Being able to be a part of people's special occasions means the world to me! I’ve definitely learned that life is too short, and why waste it doing something that's not your passion.
