The Many Uses of Your Tale’s First Line with Fantasy Authorrator Will Hahn
You’ve got a fabulous story. No, seriously, it’s terrific. But when, exactly, does it start? How long do you think the reader will wait to “get” your tale, before something else in this interrupt-driven world screams “SQUIRREL”, and the next thing you know, that book is lying on the side table collecting dust.
There’s a ton of things you can accomplish with your story’s very first line. And truthfully, you have to do that. Come hear fantasy authorrator Will Hahn rant about the opening lines of several great books (a few of which are also famous).

Best known as Asuka from Evangelion, Tiffany’s worked in anime since 1994. Her 1700+ anime credits include Blue Seed, Infinite Stratos, Full Metal Alchemist, One Piece, Akame Ga Kill and Girls Und Panzer. Recent projects include Neon Genesis Evangelion: Anima (SevenSeasAudiobooks.com). Video games include Warframe, Neversong, Brawl Stars, Paladins, Smite and AFK Arena!
Ms. Grant wrote English dubbing scripts for titles such as Infinite Stratos, Parasyte-the-Maxim & several subtitled scripts. Ms. Grant has also worked for many years in theatre, commercials and film.
