We’ve been watching his development for a few years and we couldn’t think more about him as an individual and artist. Truly one of San Diego’s gems in this music scene.

We have a new dog joining the pack!!! Welcome aka V5N ✨

Born and raised in San Diego, the journey into the electronic music scene for V5N began at the age of 13 with Daft Punk’s Discovery album. Over time, V5N’s passion for the music and the surrounding scene grew, influenced by artists such as Skrillex, Fatboy Slim, GTA (Good Times Ahead), Deorro, Carl Cox, and Deadmau5, among others. V5N started DJing at the age of 15 using Virtual DJ on desktop, driven purely by love for the music. Now, V5N is ready to step out of the comfort zone, which has been the bedroom, and become an active part of the DJ community.

V5N’s approach to DJing is heavily influenced by these artists, specializing in open-format EDM, enjoying everything from Moombahton to house music.

The background in music for V5N primarily involves DJing. V5N began with Virtual DJ, progressed to Serato, and now comfortably uses Rekordbox. V5N has experience with equipment such as Numark Mixtrack Pros, Denon MC4000-8000, and Pioneer CDJs 800, 1000, and 3000s. V5N is also newly equipped with FL Studio and eager to explore the world of music production.

We are extremely excited to have V5N join the pack. We can’t wait to see him on this journey 🔭

The tech house DJ/producer hails from the island of Oahu, Hawai’i where he began his artistic journey by curating parties on the North Shore beaches. Cabz’s captivating presence behind the decks quickly gained attention for his transition to the island’s most popular clubs and venues. Cabz is expanding his presence now based in Southern California and excited to bring more energy than before.

Qolaj is a Filipino DJ and producer based in San Diego, California. He has played in and around San Diego for a wide range of events. His dance tracks, described as the offspring of Dirtybird and Night Bass, have captured the attention of some record labels including Phunk Junk Records, Backroom Records, California House Patrol, and Space Yacht Records.

He is a volunteer creative director for Dance Music Initiative, a non-profit organization based in Orange County, CA, and the technical director for San Diego Filipino Cinema. He is also 1/2 of the rock-electronica duo, Umbra Maze.

We’re honored to have such a talented individual on the team. His commitment to his communities and passions is special.
