Explaining the Football,
(Thanks Kieran for supporting HMM)

So essentially it will be a 12 hour continuous 5-a-side game of football.

People can sign as individuals and they can either play for the whole 12 hours or turn up for an hour or 2. They can also come and go as much as they want as long as we have two teams of 5 playing at all times.

Thank you to Grapes and Tomatoes for doing the bar and some of the live music and to Bourton Road Butchers for doing the food. It was a brilliant day, lots of fun was had, and we raised £405! Wow is all I can say from HMM psychic night lots of tears from readings specially one that read for me, definitely getting Jane Meakin back and also the Yoga was just wow I have never felt so relaxed so thank you Heather England for doing that and I’m so looking forward to a good night sleep tonight. Thank you Sara Stensland and Katie Hickman for being Healing Military Minds - HMM representatives and the nutritional shop for sponsoring the event. From now on the event we organise are going to pay for veterans to go to the ball.

As you all know we have now raised £100,000. This could not have achieved this without the support of the Station Commander and the SWO, and alongside all of sections and individuals at Brize Norton and other units who have taken part in fund-raising events for us.
Hearing stories from the people that who Combat Stress have helped, and the positive impact that the charity has had on their lives, has been incredible to listen to, and is what makes it such a worthwhile cause to raise money for.
