It was a pleasure serving you all and spearheading some new initiatives while working ferociously in the background.

SurgSoc are really excited to announce our peer-led suturing workshops, with April tickets now available to SurgSoc members… for *FREE*!

💭 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁
- Small group teaching
- Starting with the basics - no prior experience needed
- Learn the fundamental skills required to become proficient
- Learn to suture with your own kit!
(Kits will be provided to anyone who doesn’t own one for the duration of the workshop)

SurgSoc are excited to announce that we have been working with several other universities to develop a high-yield general surgery teaching series!

💭 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁:

•⁠ ⁠6 week timetable of high yield surgical topics (see poster for more details).
•⁠ ⁠Taught by surgical trainees and consultants.
•⁠ ⁠Certificates will be provided for attendance of 3 or more sessions!

📅 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲:

•⁠ Dates: Every Wednesday starting 10/04/24 to 15/05/24.
•⁠ Time: 6-7pm.

The Warwick Surgical Society will be visiting the Hunterian Museum and Anatomy and Pathology collection at the Royal College of surgeons HQ. Ticket price includes entry to museums and travel there and back by coach.

Attendees will be partially refunded, amount depending on SurgSoc affiliation.
