And i learned alot this year 💪🏽
If i ever fall in love again i now know that Distance sometimes lets you know who is worth keeping , and who is worth letting go…..
I know now that Sometimes you just need to distance yourself from people .
Because If they care…..they'll notice….
And If they don't , you know where you stand…..
Being isolated at times doesn't always mean that you want to distance yourself from others , it simply means that you need some space to look at things from a different perspective……
You can choose to disrespect me but I will not give you permission to hurt my spirit…..
I can’t control your behavior…..nor do I want that burden … but I will not apologize for refusing to be disrespected , to be lied to , or to be mistreated…..
I have standards……step up or step out……
One with genuine self - respect can never feel disrespected 💋

I used to be the one who was always there for my friends. If they needed a shoulder to cry on, I was there. If they needed someone to talk to, I was there. I was always the one who was willing to put in the extra effort to save a friendship. But I'm tired now.

I'm tired of being the only one who is trying. I'm tired of being the one who always has to make the first move. I'm tired of being the one who always has to be understanding and patient. I'm just tired.

I don't have the energy to keep fighting for friendships that should be easy. I don't have the energy to keep bending over backwards for people who don't even bother to try. I don't have the energy to keep being the bigger person.

Maybe it's time to let some friendships go. Maybe it's time to stop being the one who is always there. Maybe it's time to start taking care of myself for once...
